Nick, Joe and Kevin Jonas Share Update on Their Mom After Stroke

The Jonas Brothers are grateful for their mom’s strength.

About two weeks after Denise Jonas, the mother of Nick, Joe, and Kevin Jonas, revealed she had a stroke that impacted her thinking, speech, and ability to reason, her sons shared an update on her condition.

Joe said in an interview with Erin Lim Rhodes that he and his brothers, Kevin and Nick, are proud of her for openly sharing her personal experiences, and they believe it will inspire others to do the same.

Denise’s current strength during her health challenges is a continuation of the example she’s always set for her children.

Kevin described her as a remarkably strong and inspiring role model, someone he’s admired throughout his life. He added that she’s taught him valuable lessons about both interacting with and respecting women.

The 38-year-old explained, “My mom is like a superhero to us, so we make an effort to appreciate her whether we’re together or apart.”

As Mother’s Day approaches, Kevin and Nick Jonas are expressing their appreciation for the important role their mother and wives – Danielle Jonas and Priyanka Chopra Jonas – play in their lives.

Nick explained that he and his family had been away from their mothers for a long time. He said it was wonderful to have their loving and supportive mothers back in their lives, especially considering how long they’ve known and loved them.

Kevin shared that a tradition from their childhood that he and his brothers still enjoy as adults is breakfast in bed. He said it’s ‘always good,’ just like when they were kids.

Okay, so they weren’t exactly gourmet chefs, but honestly, it was just us trying our best in the kitchen! Breakfast attempts weren’t always perfect, let’s just say that. But seriously, don’t even get me STARTED on our smoothies. We could whip up a smoothie that would change your LIFE. Seriously, a mean smoothie. It was our thing!

The Jonas Brothers are teaming up with Almond Breeze for Mother’s Day, drawing on their love of cooking and fond memories. They’re using their skills in the kitchen—and a bit of nostalgia—to promote the non-dairy milk.

The three friends mentioned their mom always keeps Almond Breeze in the refrigerator. They said it’s perfect for smoothies and coffee, and one of them specifically recalled how delicious her Texas sheet cake is – and thinks it would be even better if made with Almond Breeze.

They shared that their favorite Mother’s Day memories with Denise involve simple moments like relaxing on the couch, laughing together, and enjoying each other’s company. They also fondly remember her delicious cooking and how much they loved eating her meals.

Kourtney, who reshared his Instagram post, commented, “It is my purpose and my pleasure.”

Travis shared some family photos for Mother’s Day, including a picture from December 2024. It shows him with his wife, their son Rocky Thirteen, her children Penelope and Reign Disick, and his own kids Landon, Alabama, and Atiana.

Hailey posted photos of her and Justin’s son to celebrate her first Mother’s Day.

“i love being your mommy Jack Blues,” the Rhode founder wrote on Instagram. “Happy Mothers Day.”

Justin reshared his wife’s post, and also posted a tribute to his mom, Pattie Mallette.

Justin Bieber’s mother, Pattie Mallette, posted a sweet message on Instagram for her daughter-in-law, Hailey, on Mother’s Day. She praised Hailey, calling her a wonderful addition to the family – kind, resilient, and loving. Pattie also expressed how happy she is to watch Hailey become a mother.

Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, posted a sweet photo on Instagram of herself with her children and Prince Harry, wishing everyone a Happy Mother’s Day and celebrating the joys of motherhood.

She continued, “And to my two precious children—who still love to climb all over me, shower me with kisses, and turn every day into an amazing experience… being your mom is the biggest joy of my life.”

Reese Witherspoon posted a photo on Mother’s Day with all three of her children: Ava and Deacon Phillippe, whom she shares with her ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, and her son with ex-husband Jim Toth.
