Blizzard revealed a new Diablo-themed event starting April 28th. It will include five new character skins, four popular skins returning by player request, revamped event challenges, and free rewards for viewers on Twitch. Here’s a rundown of everything announced so far.

From April 28th to May 18th, 2026, Blizzard is bringing a Diablo-themed event to Overwatch, called Overwatch x Hatred’s Reckoning. Players can look forward to five new Legendary skins, plus four fan-favorite skins returning from a previous crossover. The event will also feature classic challenges with free rewards, and there are already Twitch Drops available. All skins will be sold separately and in bundles, though Blizzard hasn’t announced prices or what will be included in each bundle yet.

Overwatch x Hatred’s Reckoning — All Five New Legendary Skins

Okay, so these five skins are totally fresh – I’ve never seen anything like them in Overwatch before! They basically take heroes we all know and love and turn them into characters from Diablo, like classes or villains. It’s a really cool crossover!

Ramattra
Ramattra x Mephisto
The Lord of Hatred himself. Ramattra becomes Mephisto — patient, inevitable, spreading darkness across the battlefield.
Brigitte
Brigitte x Paladin
Light against the darkness. Brigitte is recast as a Paladin holding the line with unbreakable faith.
Freja
Freja x Rogue
Silent and precise. Freja becomes a Rogue who stalks through shadows and delivers a quick death before anyone knows she was there.
Lifeweaver
Lifeweaver x Warlock
Creation and corruption blurred together. Lifeweaver’s Warlock skin walks the fine line between healing and harm.
Mauga
Mauga x Druid
Mauga storms the battlefield as a Druid, calling the natural world to answer with relentless ferocity.

Returning Skins in Overwatch x Hatred’s Reckoning

How to Get Free Rewards in Overwatch x Hatred’s Reckoning

Blizzard is bringing back the original Overwatch event challenges from the Hatred’s Reckoning collaboration, giving players a second chance to earn all the previously available rewards. As a bonus, there’s a new item – a Crab with a Knife weapon charm – exclusive to this re-run of the event. You can complete the challenges and claim your rewards from April 28th to May 18th.

You can earn special rewards with Twitch Drops in Overwatch! From now until May 10th, simply watch any Overwatch stream on Twitch that’s labeled with the official Overwatch category and has Drops enabled. You don’t even need to play the game – just tuning in qualifies you for rewards.

You can earn Twitch Drops until May 10th, which is two weeks after the Overwatch and Hatred’s Reckoning event begins. This gives you ample time to collect both charms, even if you can’t watch everything live.

When Does Overwatch x Hatred’s Reckoning Start?

The Overwatch and Hatred’s Reckoning event begins on April 28, 2026, and lasts until May 18, 2026. During the event, nine different skins will be available to buy in the in-game shop – five are brand new, and four are returning favorites. Blizzard hasn’t announced how much the skins will cost or what will be included in any bundles just yet.
