In the fourth episode of Invincible’s fourth season, Mark Grayson’s story jumps between Earth and the UnderRealm. He crosses paths with Damien Darkblood and gets caught up in a bigger battle. The episode ends with a short scene after the credits that brings the attention back to events on Earth.
What happens in the post credits scene of Invincible Season 4 Episode 4
In the final moments of Invincible Season 4, Episode 4, Damien Darkblood reappears on Earth. This confirms he’s back after what happened in the UnderRealm. The scene also suggests that Volcanikka is still planning to cause trouble for the surface world.
In episode 4, which came out on March 25, 2026, Mark Grayson is struggling with the consequences of what’s happened. The episode starts with Mark going to Art’s costume shop, where he feels bad about his choices and tries to give back his suit. However, he’s quickly pulled away when Eve calls with news of a new problem.
The story moves to the UnderRealm, where Damien is with his sister Domina and the Darkblood Clan. They’re facing off against Volcanikka, who is trying to get a powerful item called the Vial. During this encounter, Damien tells Mark that Cecil Stedman sent him back to the UnderRealm. He also reveals that Volcanikka has overthrown Satan and now rules Hell.
So, I’m totally hooked on this show, and the latest episode had Mark tasked with getting this artifact called the Molten Crown – apparently, it’s key to bringing Satan back to power! During their mission, Mark actually says he thinks Omni-Man is gone for good. There’s this intense scene too where Mark and Damien tumble into this hole, and Mark just starts grilling Damien with a bunch of questions. It was a real cliffhanger!
The story ends with Mark talking to Atom Eve about how he’s feeling. Just as they begin to discuss things, Nolan and Allen show up with urgent news: a war is coming. After the credits, a scene reveals Damien has arrived on Earth, proving that Volcanikka is still causing trouble.
