In 2022, the independent game studio Studio Chien d’Or released The Whispering Valley, a point-and-click horror game that’s been well-received by players. It has a 3.7 out of 5-star rating on GOG and an 89% positive rating on Steam, based on reviews from 16 and 156 users respectively. Steam users consider the game “Very Positive,” meaning fans of horror and adventure games might be pleasantly surprised by this free-to-play PC title, which hasn’t gotten much attention since its release.
