Great news! The egmr.ru Community Forum is getting a big update on Wednesday, April 29th. This upgrade will make it even easier to connect with other readers, win fantastic prizes, and collect special digital rewards. Since launching in September 2025, our forum has grown quickly, with thousands of users exchanging messages about everything you can imagine – from superhero movies to breakfast food! We’ve already given away over $5,000 in prizes, including a MetaQuest 3S VR Headset and a John Wick-themed poker set. We’ve been listening to your feedback, and this update will include features like linking forum discussions to comments on our popular articles, plus exclusive events and prizes for active participation.

Over the next few months, we’re excited to add more features to the egmr.ru community! We’re introducing a rewards system where active readers, commenters, and forum users can earn cool prizes – both physical items and digital goodies. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s launching next week.

PSA: Forum Downtime Planned on April 29th.

We’re letting everyone know that the forum will be temporarily unavailable while we perform a scheduled upgrade. We’ll post a firm schedule soon, but please expect the forum to be down on the morning of April 29th until the update and new features are finished.

The egmr.ru Features That Are Arriving on April 29th

As a movie critic, I’ve been following this rollout closely, and here’s the deal: this new discussion feature won’t be on every article. The team is being really selective, focusing on pieces that are already sparking great conversations. Don’t worry, Disqus comments aren’t going anywhere on other articles! It’s a deliberate choice – since the site covers so much ground daily, they’re hand-picking articles for this feature to avoid overwhelming the forums with everything they publish. It’s about quality over quantity, ensuring the forum stays focused on the most engaging content.

We’re working to eventually allow everyone to log in with a single account. Right now, we’re focused on connecting conversations around popular topics between our website and forums, and giving our website commenters access to special features and contests found only on the forums.

egmr.ru’s Quest for the Infinity Gauntlet Details & Prizes

On April 29th, we’re launching special, time-limited quests, beginning with a series inspired by the Infinity Gauntlet. From April 29th to May 30th, all registered commenters and forum users will receive an empty Infinity Gauntlet badge. This is the first step towards earning badges themed around each Infinity Stone by completing tasks on our site and forums. Each stone requires reaching a specific goal, and collecting all of them unlocks a unique Mad Titan badge – a rare reward that won’t be available later. Plus, anyone who earns the complete set of stones will be automatically entered into a drawing for a chance to win one of two prizes!

  • An actual Marvel: Legends Series – Infinity Gauntlet Articulated Electronic Fist (which is no longer available for purchase at retail).

  • A PSA graded copy of The Infinity Gauntlet #1 comic book.

Our first limited-time badge, the Mad Titan, will be especially rare, and we’ll release new themed badges every month – keep an eye out for Supergirl and Lobo-themed quests in June!

We’ll be getting details on how to earn each stone from a discussion on the forum, but we’ll also be keeping an eye on things in case players need a little help.

We’ve released the Infinity Stone badges a little early, so you can begin the related quest line now if you’d like.

To mark the launch of our new forum features, we’re excited to announce a giveaway of our two best prizes ever!
