Pari Kim and Tina Zhu Xi Caruso’s T-riffic romance has come to an end.
As a lifestyle expert, I’m sad to share some news about a couple many of us have been rooting for. Shane and Emma, who found each other on Love on the Spectrum, have decided to go their separate ways. They met during the third season of the show, and while it’s always disappointing to hear about a split, I wish them both all the best as they move forward.
Pari announced on Instagram on April 24th that she and Tina have broken up. She explained they are now just friends and are going their separate ways, but she wishes Tina all the best in the future.
Pari and Tina connected immediately when they met on a blind date during the third season of a popular reality show. Pari mentioned she was hoping to find someone who shared her enthusiasm for Boston’s subway system, nicknamed the ‘T,’ playfully calling her ideal partner a ‘T-Princess.’
Thinking back on their relationship, Pari described how they naturally drifted apart like branches growing in different directions.
Pari shared a photo of blue and purple trains on Instagram, noting how trains arrive and depart for various places. She pointed out that, like the MBTA Commuter Rail and Amtrak, different train lines often cross paths, then split off on their own journeys, and that’s perfectly normal.
She continued, explaining that both options remain good choices, each fulfilling a unique need and ultimately leading to a positive outcome.

Tina explained that she and her partner have decided to end their romantic relationship, but they remain on good terms and there’s no animosity between them.
Tina announced on Instagram on April 24th that she and Pari (@purpleprincesspari) have broken up and are now just friends. She shared the news with a photo of them dressed as Glinda and Elphaba from the musical Wicked.
Okay, so I’m totally obsessed with this, but she said we’re like Elphaba and Glinda – you know, from Wicked? Apparently, I’m Elphaba, which is amazing because I’m so passionate and ready to fight for what I believe in, and I can’t wait to show everyone how I do that! She’s Glinda, and she’ll keep advocating for things too. Honestly, I just really hope we can still be friends and work together on important stuff like better public transport and helping people with disabilities, even if we approach it differently. It would be so cool!
Pari and Tina aren’t the only couple from Love on the Spectrum who have broken up. Here’s an update on what happened with other couples from the popular Netflix series…

Abbey Romeo and David Isaacman, who were popular on all four seasons of the Netflix show Love on the Spectrum, have broken up. The show documented their relationship, which began with a first date at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park in 2021. The Los Angeles couple ended their nearly five-year romance in 2026.
On a March 2026 episode of the podcast We Need to Talk, Abbey shared how much she appreciates her partner, noting he often says kind things and is considerate of her sensory sensitivities – he’ll even cover her ears when certain noises bother her. They also bond over simple pleasures like burgers, fries, spaghetti (they both love carbs!), and classic Disney films such as The Lion King and The Little Mermaid.
Honestly, it just broke my heart when they realized they weren’t meant to be. I remember watching season four and she actually told a producer they both weren’t ready for marriage yet! She was so scared of ending up like her mom, getting divorced, and she didn’t want to rush into anything. She just needed time, and it was so sad because it felt like they weren’t willing to give it to each other. It was devastating!

Tyler White surprised his girlfriend, Madison Marilla, with a Christmas-themed proposal in July. Netflix cameras were there to film the special moment, which took place at the Sunken Gardens in Tampa, Florida—the same location as their first date. Tyler decorated the garden with holiday decorations and left a heartfelt note for Madison.
He wrote that he immediately knew, when he met her, that she was someone truly special and precious, and he couldn’t wait any longer to share his feelings with everyone.
Madison and her partner are planning a wedding with a fun cowboy-and-princess theme! She excitedly announced the news on Instagram, saying it was a difficult secret to keep, and that wedding planning was officially underway. They’re looking forward to their happily ever after.
Tyler shared with Netflix’s Tudum that what he loves most about being with Madison is how they support each other through challenges. He expressed his excitement about spending his life with her, saying he looks forward to having her by his side always.

After focusing on their relationship, Shelley Wolfe and her boyfriend, James B. Jones, are now working on a home project. Jones shared with Netflix’s Tudum that they’ve been in their new Boston-area house for three months and have already put a lot of work into making it feel like home.
After two years together, Shelley says living together feels natural and comfortable. She continues to be James’ primary home. James describes them as soulmates and kindred spirits, emphasizing their similarities while acknowledging their individuality. He adds that they motivate each other to grow and become their best selves.

I was so sad to hear that Connor Tomlinson and Georgie Harris have broken up! It happened pretty quickly after their trip to London in July 2025, which was such a dream come true for them. Connor explained to Tudum that dating can be really tough, and sometimes you realize you’re just not a good fit for someone, even if you hoped you were. He said they had some pretty significant differences that he couldn’t overlook. It’s always disappointing when a couple you root for doesn’t work out, but I wish them both all the best.
I’m seeing a really positive shift for Connor! He’s been inspired after revisiting KPop Demon Hunters and is now seriously considering acting lessons – he wants to really put himself out there and showcase his talent. And on the personal front, he recently shared with Tudum that he’s feeling ready to start dating again, which is fantastic! It sounds like he’s embracing new opportunities all around.
Georgie is now dating Luke, a close friend, just a few months after ending her previous relationship. “I was really happy and definitely said yes,” she shared with Tudum. “We just make each other laugh.”

Okay, so, my heart is broken, but Pari Kim and Tina Zhu Xi Caruso – I seriously shipped them SO hard after seeing them fall for each other on season three of the show – have announced they’re splitting up. It’s devastating, but they said even though their romance is over, they’ll always be there for each other, which is… sweet, I guess? Still, I was really hoping they’d last!
Tina announced on Instagram on April 24th that she and Pari have broken up and are now just friends. She shared a photo of them dressed as characters from the musical Wicked – Glinda and Elphaba – with the caption, “It’s mutual.”
Okay, so I’m totally obsessed with this, but she said we’re like Glinda and Elphaba from Wicked! I’m definitely the Elphaba – the one who’s going to really fight for what’s right, and I can’t wait to show everyone how passionate I am. Pari, she’s more like Glinda, still fighting the good fight in her own way. Honestly, I just really hope we can keep doing that together, you know? Like, championing things we both care about – things like better public transport and making sure people with disabilities get the support they deserve. It would be amazing if we could still do all that as friends.
