The classic fighting game Ultra Street Fighter 4, known for helping to revitalize the genre, is now available for a discounted price on PlayStation 4 after being unavailable for five years.
Wow, can you believe it? The last time this game went on sale was way back in June 2021! It dropped to just $12.49 or £9.99 then, and honestly, it hasn’t been discounted at all since. Five whole years! I’ve been waiting for a sale forever.
You can currently purchase the complete version of this fighting game, with all downloadable characters included, for only $3.99 or £3.19 on the PlayStation Store. This offer ends on May 6th.
When Street Fighter 5 was first announced as a PlayStation 4 exclusive, Sony also revealed that Ultra Street Fighter 4 – originally a PlayStation 3 game – would be coming to the PS4.
Other Ocean Interactive brought this game to the PS4, but it had several issues when it first came out. Because of these bugs, it had to be removed from planned demonstrations at the EVO fighting game tournament in 2015.
The game was eventually fixed and made better, but some dedicated fighting game fans might still find things they don’t like about this version.
At a price cheaper than a typical coffee, this classic fighting game is a great deal. Plus, it’s hard to say when it will be offered at this price again!
