7 EastEnders spoilers for next week
1. George Knight is rocked by Eddie request to see him

Nicola Mitchell, played by Laura Doddington, and her partner George bring their newborn daughter, Ivy, home from the hospital to a surprise welcome party. However, Nicola feels overwhelmed and immediately ends the celebration.
After a calming conversation with Gina Knight (Francesca Henry), she feels reassured and finds solace in seeing George enjoy being a father. But this peaceful moment doesn’t last, as Nicola discovers George turned off his phone and missed multiple calls from the hospital.
At first, she thinks the phone calls are about Ivy, but once she learns what they’re really about, she rushes to the hospital ward. There, she meets Eddie Knight, who tells her he doesn’t have much time left to live.

Nicola tries to hide her trip, but George figures it out when he discovers a parking ticket. Once he knows what’s happening, he goes to the hospital and is upset to see how weak Eddie has become.
When news spreads about Eddie’s location, Gina and Kojo Asare are shocked. Facing increasing pressure from his family, George is compelled to deal with his emotions and decides to see Eddie one final time.
Later that week, Nicola decides to handle the situation herself and tells Eddie to keep away from her family.

2. Phil Mitchell and Julie Bates attempt to navigate life after Nigel’s death

Phil is still deeply affected by Nigel’s death and tries to get back in touch with Grant. However, feelings are still very strong, and when Mark Fowler declines their invitation, Grant decides to withdraw as well.
Phil is left rejected once again.
Julie is getting ready to pick up Nigel’s things from his care home by herself, wanting to protect Phil from the sadness. However, she starts to struggle with keeping her emotions hidden when Kat Moon sees her at the Minute Mart and notices she’s upset.

Julie told Kat everything, and Kat, fueled by anger, immediately went to Sam and Phil’s house to confront them. Ultimately, they supported Julie and went with her to visit the care home. While there, she found a letter from Nigel, but wasn’t ready to open it.
3. Tensions reach boiling point between Ian Beale and Elaine Peacock

Okay, so I’m really rooting for Ian Beale in this councillor election, but it’s not looking good! He’s trying so hard, but everyone in Walford seems to be on Team Elaine Peacock. It’s a bit heartbreaking to watch, honestly. He got totally desperate and tried to bribe Harvey, Howie, and Mo down at the allotments to get them on his side, but it completely blew up in his face. Poor Ian!
Bea Pollard (played by Ronni Ancona) quickly suggests a harsh strategy: creating a damaging video about Elaine. Ian is reluctant, questioning if they should go that far.
Everything goes wrong when Oscar Branning secretly switches Ian’s prepared speech right before he’s supposed to deliver it, leaving Ian struggling. Luckily, Elaine jumps in to help him. Later, a deeply embarrassed Ian unleashes his anger at Jimmy’s birthday celebration, and, feeling vulnerable, he finally allows Bea to publish the video.

News travels fast in Walford, and soon everyone is talking about a video that’s circulating online. Meanwhile, completely oblivious to the drama unfolding, Elaine pops into Beale’s Eels to offer Ian her best wishes, just as he’s desperately trying to reach Bea and fix the situation.
It’s already happened. Cindy Beale tells Elaine what’s been going on, and Elaine immediately goes to confront Ian.
With election day here, Bea is making a final push for votes, and Ian is trying to fix any problems. Despite their efforts to be polite to each other, Elaine and Ian are still clearly upset.
4. Linda Carter turns to Grant Mitchell for support after Max Branning goes public with Cindy Beale

Linda is finding it hard to hide her envy of Max and Cindy, but Grant suggests she prioritize her own well-being. This, along with learning that Johnny is struggling with money from Elaine, makes Linda reconsider things.
Soon after, she makes a bold decision – telling Denise she plans to sell her share of Fox & Hair.
Linda tries to give Johnny money to help him, but he angrily refuses and tells her to go away. Hurt by his rejection, Linda snaps at Grant when he tries to comfort her, pushing him away. Afterwards, Grant confronts Johnny at the café, telling him exactly what he thinks.

I was so excited for Max and Cindy’s joint birthday party at Harry’s Barn, but the celebration felt… strained. You could just feel the tension building, especially when Max found out Linda had been with someone else. It really cast a shadow over everything.
Jealousy takes hold, and in a sudden move, Cindy accepts Max’s offer to move in with him.
5. Harry Mitchell helps Gina Knight amid monetary worries at the restaurant

Harry agrees to loan Gina money from his business, Harry’s Barn, to cover some financial issues at Knight Fusion, but the arrangement quickly comes to light. Nicola is shocked to learn from her accountant that Harry’s Barn is already losing money.
Now that the truth is out, Gina and Harry have to admit what happened. Harry is very worried about losing the business, so he begs Nicola not to sell it.
6. The Queen Vic is losing punters to the Walford allotments

Kat and Alfie are annoyed to find out their customers have been going to the community garden to drink instead of coming to their pub.
Never one to hold back, Kat gives Howie and Harvey both barrels over their secret gatherings.
7. Sam Mitchell urges Denise Fox to seek medical attention

Sam noticed Denise was incredibly tired when she found her sleeping at the salon. After checking to see if she was okay, Denise confessed she’d already scheduled a visit to the doctor.
Sam then had a helpful idea to help Denise feel better: maybe Jack could invest in Fox & Hair, giving the company some financial support after Linda decided to withdraw her investment.
