Insomniac has confirmed they’ll be sharing more details about the Marvel’s Wolverine game this spring. With the spring season ending on May 31st, 2026, we can expect updates for the PlayStation 5 version in the next few weeks.
I was getting a little worried about whether we’d actually see those updates, but the developer just confirmed on social media that they’re still on track for this Spring! They basically just said ‘Yup, still happening!’ which is awesome to hear.
Since this game is a major upcoming PlayStation 5 exclusive, we might hear more about it during a PlayStation “State of Play” livestream. Sony usually holds a showcase event in May, and this news seems like it could be featured there.
The team also had the option to announce things themselves, using platforms like the PlayStation Blog for articles and YouTube for trailers. The game’s release date of September 15, 2026, was a complete surprise, and this big announcement led some fans to wonder if the planned Spring update would still happen.
