Disney+ announced that the fifth and final season of The Bear is coming soon, and all episodes will be available at once, so you can binge-watch the entire season without waiting each week.
All eight episodes of the Emmy-winning FX series will become available in the UK on Friday, June 26, 2026, and you’ll be able to watch them exclusively on Disney+ from that day.
A new episode, called “Gary,” has just been released on Disney+. You can find it now by searching for “Gary” on the streaming service. This announcement follows that release.
This bonus episode features both the writing and acting talents of Ebon Moss-Bachrach and Jon Bernthal. It follows their characters, Richie and Mikey, as they travel to Gary, Indiana for work.
Season 5 begins the morning after Sydney, Richie, and Natalie “Sugar” Berzatto find out Carmy has left the restaurant business, leaving them to figure out what happens next.
The show’s description reveals the new partners will be dealing with financial difficulties, the possibility of the business being sold, and a major storm as they team up with everyone else for one last job.
They’re determined to achieve a Michelin star, but the show also asks whether a truly great restaurant is judged on its food alone, or by the team that creates it.
I’m so glad to hear that Jeremy Allen White is coming back as Carmy! And it’s fantastic news that Ayo Edebiri will be Sydney again, along with Ebon Moss-Bachrach as Richie and Abby Elliott as Sugar. The whole core cast is returning – that’s a huge relief and makes me even more excited for the next season!
The show features Lionel Boyce, Liza Colón-Zayas, and Matty Matheson, with Ricky Staffieri, Oliver Platt, Will Poulter, and Jamie Lee Curtis making appearances throughout the season.
Since it first aired, this popular comedy-drama has become a major success for FX, winning several Emmy Awards. Critics have especially praised its realistic and intense depiction of the challenges and rewards of working in a restaurant, as well as its honest exploration of loss, pursuing dreams, and the bonds people create with each other.
