
James Gunn is bringing in someone he’s worked with before to help with the new DC Universe, signaling a potential reunion of creative forces.
Just got word from Deadline that Matthew Lillard is joining the cast of Man of Tomorrow! They’re currently shooting down in Atlanta, and while DC hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet, the big question on everyone’s mind is who he’ll be playing. It’s all still under wraps, but I’m definitely intrigued to see what they have planned for him in this new superhero flick.
Lillard was a key part of the live-action Scooby-Doo movies made in the early 2000s. He both wrote the screenplays and starred as Shaggy Rogers, under the direction of Raja Gosnell. The films also featured Sarah Michelle Gellar as Daphne Blake, Matthew Lillard as Shaggy Rogers, and Linda Cardellini as Velma Dinkley.
