Where to Pre-Order (and What It’ll Cost You)
Good news – you have several places to pre-order the game! Amazon, the LEGO Store, and Fanatical are all taking pre-orders now. The standard version costs about $70, and the Deluxe Edition is $90 – it’s a great value, and we’ll talk more about that shortly. If you’re a PC gamer, you can get a 12% discount through Fanatical, bringing the price down to around $62.
The game will be released between May 19th and 22nd, 2026, with the exact date varying based on your gaming platform and where you buy it. Plus, Amazon offers a pre-order price guarantee, so if the price goes down before release, you’ll automatically get the lower price.
If you pre-order the game on PC, you’ll receive the “Dark Knight Returns” Batsuit, based on the famous 1986 comic book by Frank Miller. Those who purchase the Deluxe Edition will also get up to three days of early access, letting you play in Gotham City before anyone else. For dedicated fans, the exclusive Batsuit is reason enough to pre-order.

Welcome Back to Gotham
This new game lets you explore a vast, open-world Gotham City built with LEGO’s classic playful style, but it’s surprisingly detailed and immersive. You’ll experience Bruce Wayne’s journey to becoming Batman in a story-focused adventure with real stealth, detective work, and engaging hand-to-hand combat.
Batman’s iconic villains are all here, like the Joker, Penguin, and Mr. Freeze. You can play as seven different heroes, including Robin, Batgirl, and Nightwing. There are also over 100 suits inspired by Batman’s long history, and more than 20 vehicles to unlock, including different versions of the Batmobile. You can even customize the Batcave with collectibles. It’s a celebration of over 80 years of Batman!
Why the Deluxe Edition Is the Move
If you’re excited about the game, it’s worth getting the Deluxe Edition. It includes themed packs based on classic Batman stories like Arkham and Batman Beyond, as well as extra content featuring the Joker and Harley Quinn. You’ll also get bonus outfits, vehicles, and more story missions. It’s the perfect choice for dedicated fans who want a lot to play beyond the initial release.
