Okay, so a game where you’re sailing a boat through a crazy storm? Count me in! But WILL: Follow the Light isn’t just about surviving the harsh Arctic. It’s a really emotional story about a dad looking for his son, and it makes you think about his own relationship with his father. You explore this beautiful but brutal world – snowy mountains, frozen seas, little towns – all while trying to find him. It’s a tough journey, both for the character and, honestly, for me as a player!
The story explores the complex relationship between a father and son, showing how their bond can either strengthen or weaken over time. It deals with serious themes, but has the potential to be moving and well-done if approached with sensitivity.
The new trailer, which you can watch below, gives a good idea of what the game will be like. We’re especially excited about riding the sled and racing across the snow – if only we weren’t also searching for our son!
This game is likely to be emotionally impactful, and you can play it on PlayStation 5, PC, and Xbox Series X/S.
