So, the rumors about more fighters coming in the Year 1 Character Pass for Invincible VS seem to be true! I just saw a tweet with some info that looks like it was dug up from the game files, and it’s supposedly showing when we can expect two new DLC characters to drop. Pretty cool if it’s legit!
MultiverSusie, who previously shared information about a new DC fighting game from NetherRealm, reports that Angstrom Levy and Agent Spider are expected to join the game this fall and winter. Agent Spider is particularly noteworthy, drawing comparisons to Spider-Man, and Omni-Man’s in-game dialogue even refers to them as a “public menace.” These characters will follow Universa and the Immortal, who are scheduled to be released this summer.
Although nothing is official yet, the game’s social media team has addressed the leaked information, explaining that leaks don’t usually reflect the final version of the game. They admit they can’t undo the spoilers, but promise to show off complete gameplay footage this summer. They’re confident that even if the leaks aren’t accurate, any new characters will fit seamlessly into the game’s story and technical design, making an already great game even better.
You can play Invincible VS on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC. Read our review – we gave it an 8/10 – to learn more!
You’ve probably seen some information leaked online, and we want to address that. Keep in mind that leaked materials rarely show the final, polished version of a game, and that’s true in this case too. We can’t reveal everything just yet, but we’re really looking forward to showing off complete gameplay footage this summer!
