All 6 MCU TV Shows Releasing After Fantastic Four: First Steps

Brave New World,” the film “Thunderbolts” garnered rave reviews by weaving an emotional tale about a band of anti-heroes trying to find their footing in society. The acclaim for “Thunderbolts” has left many optimistic that Marvel Studios’ next production, “The Fantastic Four: First Steps,” will continue the positive trend, and indications suggest it will. Early responses to the movie have been overwhelmingly favorable, and with its box office prospects looking bright, it’s challenging not to agree that the MCU is experiencing a resurgence.

Once “First Steps” premieres in cinemas, there won’t be another Marvel Studios film for quite some time. Fortunately, the MCU has several TV series in development to keep fans entertained until Spiderman makes his comeback in “Spider-Man: A Fresh Start.

1) Eyes of Wakanda

After the excitement over “First Steps” subsides in August, the animated series “Eyes of Wakanda” will be released on Disney+. The director of both “Black Panther” films, Ryan Coogler, is involved with this project. It was created by Todd Harris, an accomplished artist who has contributed to several Marvel Studios productions.

In this series, titled “Eyes of Wakanda,” we’ll delve into the exploits of the Hatut Zaraze, also known as the War Dogs, who undertake perilous journeys to seize vibranium from those intending to misuse it for malevolent purposes. Given its anthology format, each episode will be set in a distinct timeframe.

2) Marvel Zombies

Perfectly timed for Halloween, Marvel Studios is amping up the horror factor to a maximum with the animated series, Marvel Zombies. Zeb Wells is the brain behind this production, where several well-known actors from the MCU will reprise their comic book roles. This star-studded cast includes Simu Liu, Iman Vellani, Florence Pugh, Hailee Steinfeld, and Elizabeth Olsen.

Marvel Zombies is a spin-off based on the hit “What If… Zombies?!” episode from the What If…? series. This imaginative storyline presents a universe where notable characters from the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU) have risen as terrifying zombies. Although details about the plot are scarce, it’s certain that the show will deliver plenty of chilling moments, much like its comic book counterpart.

3) Wonder Man

In a world post-“First Steps,” the initial live-action series to debut is titled “Wonder Man.” Set to premiere in December, this series was co-created by Daniel Destin Cretton, known for directing “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings,” and Andrew Guest, who will assume the role of showrunner.

The narrative follows Simon Williams, an ambitious actor striving for success in the glamorous world of Hollywood. In pursuit of a guiding hand, he befriends Trevor Slattery, famously known for portraying the Mandarin character from the Iron Man 3 movie produced by A.I.M. However, Simon’s path to fame is not guaranteed to be trouble-free, as his sinister brother looms with the potential to create chaos in his life.

4) Daredevil: Born Again Season 2

In the creation of the initial season of Daredevil: Born Again, a significant transformation occurred, which is noticeable in the finished product. Initially, the show’s mood appears inconsistent, giving an impression that it hesitates to connect with its past until the very end. However, for Season 2, these concerns should be alleviated as the creative team has been established and filming has already started.

In the second season of “Born Again,” Daredevil embarks on a mission to reclaim his city from Wilson Fisk. The new mayor of New York City is taking a firm stance against vigilantes, allowing the police broad authority on the streets. Luckily for Matt Murdock, he won’t be fighting alone as Jessica Jones prepares to make her Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the upcoming episodes of “Born Again.

5) Vision Quest

Among Marvel Studio’s upcoming lineup, the most enigmatic series is titled Vision Quest, a spinoff from WandaVision. This new show will center around the White Vision character who managed to break free from Westview at the conclusion of the 2021 series. The creative mind behind 12 Monkeys, Terry Matalas, will helm this Disney+ production and work with some of his past collaborators on this project.

In the upcoming movie “Vision Quest,” it’s hard to predict where the title character’s journey will lead, but we can expect him to cross paths with some familiar figures. Notably, James Spader is set to reprise his role as Ultron, a character he last portrayed in 2015, and Emily Hampshire will bring Tony Stark’s AI E.D.I.T.H. to life on screen.

6) Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man Season 2

As a movie enthusiast, I’m thrilled to share that while Peter Parker continues his battles on the silver screen alongside the Punisher, our beloved Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man will be grappling with a unique set of challenges on the small screen instead. In 2026, the web-slinger will make his return in a new TV series, with Jeff Trammell maintaining his role as both showrunner and head writer to keep the storyline engaging and authentic.

In the upcoming Season 2, Spider-Man won’t find things any less challenging than they were in Season 1, for his arch-nemesis, Norman Osborn, continues to devise strategies to undermine him. Moreover, other villains are likely to create chaos throughout New York City. It’s comforting, however, that Peter has reliable allies like Daredevil and Doctor Strange who can support him during these trying times.
