Being mistaken for Reese Witherspoon—what, like it’s hard? 

The Academy Award winner admits that things might be tougher for her daughter, Ava Phillippe, than judging a simple competition like a Lambda Kappa Pi underwear fashion show.

Reese Witherspoon actually enjoys being confused with a younger woman! She told Gayle King in a 2021 interview with InStyle that it makes her feel youthful. However, she added that the 26-year-old, who first appeared on the TV show Doctor Odyssey, might have some serious issues.

Witherspoon, who is also a mother to 22-year-old Deacon Phillippe (with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe) and 13-year-old Tennessee Toth (with former spouse Jim Toth), continued, expressing how proud she is of her daughter. She noted that her daughter handles the attention well, adding that it must be challenging to look so much like her mother.

When things get especially difficult, she can always call Zoë Kravitz, 37, her co-star from Reese Witherspoon’s show Big Little Lies.

You know, as a mom, I’ve learned to lean on other mothers for support. My daughter, Ava, and her mom, Zoë Kravitz (who, let’s be real, looks exactly like Lisa Bonet!), have this incredible bond.
