Star Wars Zero Company Rated in South Korea

Although May the 4th passed without big news from the Star Wars universe, announcements are still likely in the works. For example, Bit Reactor’s Star Wars Zero Company recently received a 15+ rating from South Korea’s GRAC due to its realistic violence, weapons, and strong language.

I noticed the game’s listing also has a Teen rating from the ESRB, which is a pretty good sign! It makes me think we’re getting closer to a release date announcement. Honestly, I have no idea when they’ll announce it, but with Zero Company already planned for release this year, and Summer Game Fest happening in early June, that seems like a really likely spot for the news. I’m keeping my fingers crossed!

This turn-based strategy game, currently in development for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, is heavily inspired by the XCOM series. Players take on the role of a former Republic officer, Hawks, and must build a team to face a new danger. The game takes place during the Clone Wars, with players traveling to various planets to complete missions. Team dynamics will be a key element, as not all squad members will get along.

Star Wars Zero Company offers a gameplay experience similar to XCOM, with randomly generated enemies and permanent character death. We’ll share more about when the game might be released as June approaches.
