Fans can continue the gritty street-level action on Disney+ this month with The Punisher: One Last Kill, which picks up the story just seven days after the season finale of Daredevil: Born Again.
We last saw Frank Castle (Jon Bernthal) escaping from Mayor Wilson Fisk’s brutal prison for people taking the law into their own hands. However, he was surprisingly absent when the heroes fought back against Kingpin (Vincent D’Onofrio).
In a recent TopMob interview, Marvel’s Sana Amanat hinted that this upcoming ‘Special Presentation’ will reveal what Frank Castle has been doing during the intervening time.
I also worked on that special, along with the second season of ‘Born Again,'” she said. “And what I’ll say about Frank Castle – and Jon Bernthal, who played him – is that he’s not really someone who works well with others.
Amanat explained that the character will follow his own path and remain consistent with his established story. They plan to reveal some of his backstory, but are keeping the details under wraps for now.
The new trailer for The Punisher: One Last Kill shows the character haunted by memories of the tragedy that led him to become a vigilante, while he now tries to protect another family from experiencing the same pain.

What time is The Punisher: One Last Kill released on Disney+?

The final episode of The Punisher, titled ‘One Last Kill’, will be available to stream on Disney+ starting Tuesday, May 12th at 6 PM Pacific Time and 9 PM Eastern Time. For viewers in the UK, it will be released on Wednesday, May 13th at 2 AM British Summer Time.
As a huge Marvel fan in the UK, I’m bracing myself for Wednesday morning! It sounds like the new episodes are dropping internationally first, which means avoiding Twitter and other social media is probably a good idea if I don’t want to see any spoilers. Honestly, it’s kind of what happened with the last season of Daredevil: Born Again, so I’m somewhat prepared… but still nervous!
How many episodes are in The Punisher: One Last Kill?
The Punisher: One Last Kill is a one-off ‘Special Presentation’ from Marvel Studios.
This is similar to other limited-run Marvel projects like Werewolf By Night and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, so don’t expect any new episodes after it’s released.

Good news for fans: all episodes of the two-season Marvel series The Punisher (a total of 26 episodes) are now streaming on Disney+. If you didn’t get a chance to watch it when it originally aired, it’s definitely worth checking out – the show was executive produced by Dario Scardapane, who’s also leading the Daredevil: Born Again series.
