Chace Crawford is trying not to kiss and tell.
The former Gossip Girl star clarified whether he had romantic relationships with any of his castmates – including Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Penn Badgley, Ed Westwick, and Taylor Momsen – during the show’s run from 2007 to 2012.
Chace mentioned that relationships and connections formed among the cast, as he discussed on the May 11th episode of Armchair Expert, but he confirmed he never actually dated anyone from the show.
Although he claimed he hadn’t had a real-life relationship with any of the main actors, the 40-year-old admitted to having casual encounters with some of the guest stars.
You know, one of the best parts of working on the show was all the amazing people I met. It wasn’t just the cast, but so many guest stars and people connected to the production. Often, I’d actually meet them through friends I already had – it was a really natural way to expand my circle!
Chace had previously suggested he’d dated someone from the show Gossip Girl, which also starred Michelle Trachtenberg, Sebastian Stan, and Jessica Szohr.
Chace Crawford said on the Call Her Daddy podcast in 2024 that certain experiences on set are just part of being in your 20s. He explained that while people might focus on intimate scenes, the most awkward part is actually the downtime – being on set for 12 to 14 hours a day with a large crew of diverse people.

Chace described being on set as similar to going to college, saying he had a really active social life.
Over the years, many actors and crew members have joined the show. Luckily, I had a strong group of friends already living in the city, and everyone else had their own close-knit group too. So you end up meeting people through that larger network, not just those directly involved with the show. It’s a big team with a lot of people contributing.
Several of his colleagues found romance on set, with couples like Blake Lively and Penn Badgley, Jessica Szohr and Ed Westwick, and Leighton Meester and Sebastian Stan all dating publicly. Chace Crawford hinted that he’s definitely kept some other on-set romances under wraps.

Since Gossip Girl ended, the actress who played Serena van der Woodsen has been consistently working on new projects.
Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds got married on September 9, 2012, and have four children together: daughters James, Inez, and Betty, and a son named Olin, who was born in 2023.
Blake Lively, known for her roles in films like The Age of Adaline, The Shallows, and A Simple Favor, has been involved in a legal dispute with actor and director Justin Baldoni (It Ends With Us) since late 2024. She initially accused him of inappropriate behavior and retaliation. While he filed a countersuit claiming defamation, a judge dismissed it in June 2025.
In April 2026, a judge dismissed 10 of the 13 claims made by Lively, including allegations of sexual harassment. The case was settled in May 2026, avoiding a trial.

After becoming known for his role as Dan Humphrey (and famously being revealed as Gossip Girl!), Badgley took on an even more unsettling character: Joe Goldberg, the stalker in the popular Netflix series You.
However, the actor who had a romantic connection with Lively both on and off the screen during the first few seasons of the show is actually a devoted family man.
He married Domino Kirke in February 2017, and they now have three sons, including twins born in September 2025.

Leighton Meester, known for her role as the wealthy Blair Waldorf, is still a popular actress, and now stars in the series Good Cop/Bad Cop on CW and Stan.
Danneel Harris (Meester) married actor Adam Brody in 2014. They have two children: a daughter named Arlo, born in 2015, and a son born in 2020, whose name they’ve kept private.
Blake Lively said in 2018 that she has no regrets about her time on Gossip Girl, explaining she’s content with where she is in life. She feels fortunate both personally – having a child and finding her life partner – and professionally, being in a place she wants to be with her career.

Following his time playing Nate Archibald, Chace Crawford appeared on the ABC series Blood & Oil and acted in films including Eloise, All About Nina, and Reunion.
Since 2019, the Texas-born actor has been playing the character Kevin, also known as The Deep, in Amazon’s darkly humorous superhero series, The Boys.

Ed Westwick became well-known for his role as Chuck Bass on the show Gossip Girl. After that, he played Tybalt in the 2013 film Romeo & Juliet and was a lead in the 2015 TV series Wicked City, though it didn’t last long.
In late 2017, the Los Angeles Police Department began investigating accusations of sexual assault against actor Jeremy Westwick, which he refuted. By July 2018, the Los Angeles County District Attorney decided not to pursue charges, citing insufficient evidence in two cases and a lack of cooperation from a third accuser.
As a lifestyle expert, I remember when Ed Westwick, who you might recognize from the 2018 adaptation of Agatha Christie’s Ordeal by Innocence, had his scenes re-filmed after some serious allegations came to light. It was a tricky situation for everyone involved, and the production team ultimately decided reshoots were necessary.
Having resolved some personal issues, Westwick married his girlfriend Amy Jackson in Italy in August 2024. They then welcomed their son, Oscar, in March 2025. Oscar joined Amy’s son, Andreas, from a previous relationship, completing their family.

I remember when Taylor Momsen first started out as Little J on Gossip Girl – she was so young, only 14! Even then, you could tell she was destined for something bigger. It wasn’t long before her love for music took over, and she left the show to pursue her real dream. By 17, she’d already formed her incredible band, The Pretty Reckless, and it’s been amazing to watch her journey ever since.
When asked about returning to acting, she told TopMob at the 2022 iHeartRadio Music Awards—her first red carpet appearance in five years—that she’s open to the possibility. “I’ve learned not to rule anything out, especially given everything that’s been happening,” she said, but clarified she doesn’t have any plans to act right now.
Momsen described herself as someone who is both very trusting and very cautious in her personal relationships. She explained that once she lets someone into her life, she forms a deep and lasting connection with them, regardless of the nature of the relationship. She shared this on the Call Her Daddy podcast in November 2025.

Jessica Szohr first gained recognition for her role as Vanessa Abrams on Gossip Girl. Since then, she’s appeared in several films, including The Internship, Ted 2, and Two Night Stand. She’s also had roles on the TV series Kingdom, Shameless, and The Orville.
She and her fiancé, hockey player Brad Richardson, welcomed their daughter, Bowie Ella, in January 2021. They later married in August 2024.

The narrator of the show Gossip Girl—which was revived in 2021—ended up being a surprising reveal, given who was actually writing the scandalous blog.
Kristen Bell has had a steady career and personal life. She and her husband, Dax Shepard, who she married in 2013, have two daughters, Lincoln and Delta. Bell has also become a prominent figure in Hollywood, hosting the Actor (formerly SAG) Awards three times.
Following the initial conclusion of GG in 2012, Kristen Bell returned to her iconic role in the 2014 film and the 2019 revival of Veronica Mars. She also gained prominence starring in NBC’s The Good Place, leading the Bad Moms movies, and voicing Anna in Disney’s Frozen films.
Beginning in 2024, she began appearing in the Netflix series Nobody Wants This, alongside Adam Brody, who is married to Leighton Meester in real life.

I still can’t believe it, but Sebastian Stan – Bucky Barnes himself! – was actually on Gossip Girl! He played the charming troublemaker Carter Baizen for eleven episodes between 2007 and 2010, and even dated Blake Lively (Serena van der Woodsen) while they were filming. It’s wild to look back and see that!
Sebastian Stan is now widely recognized for playing Bucky Barnes/Winter Soldier in the Captain America and Avengers movies. He’s also appeared in the Disney+ series The Falcon and Winter Soldier alongside Anthony Mackie, and the Hulu series Pam & Tommy.
In 2025, Stan received a Golden Globe Award for his role in A Different Man, where he played an actor struggling with his identity following facial reconstructive surgery. Just weeks later, he earned an Oscar nomination for Best Actor for his portrayal of Donald Trump in the 1980s biopic, The Apprentice.
IRL, the Romanian-born actor has been dating Annabelle Wallis since at least 2022.

On the Disney Channel series DD, she played Olivia Burke, a Hollywood actress who had a relationship with Dan while they were both students at NYU. Their romance became well-known, and Olivia famously participated in a threesome with Dan and his close friend Vanessa.
Duff has appeared in shows like Younger and How I Met Your Father. A planned revival of Lizzie McGuire for Disney+ was unfortunately canceled.
Hilary Duff has four children: son Luca, whom she shares with her ex-husband Mike Comrie, and daughters Banks, Mae, and Townes with her husband Matthew Koma. She and Matthew Koma got married in 2019.
