Katy Perry Shares Rare Photo of Daughter Daisy Dove

You’ll love Katy Perry’s latest photo unconditionally.

Katy Perry marked Mother’s Day with a heartwarming photo of her daughter, Daisy Dove, and her ex-partner Orlando Bloom, taken shortly after Daisy’s birth in 2020.

In a photo posted to Instagram on May 11th, Katy Perry, with her signature platinum blonde hair, is seen lying in bed next to her baby daughter, who is wearing a pink and white striped outfit. The 41-year-old singer gazes down at her daughter with affection, gently resting a hand on their dog, Nugget.

The caption made the cute old photos—which also featured Katy’s mother, Mary Perry, in a slideshow—even more charming.

Katy shared a Mother’s Day message recognizing mothers who have faced serious illness and survived to raise their children. She wrote, ‘I see, love, and honor you,’ celebrating their strength and resilience.

This photo offers a rare look at Katy as a mother, something she’s spoken about before. She’s shared how motherhood has profoundly impacted both her personal life and her career.

Katy shared with TopMob News in 2024 that she’s finally found the unconditional love she always wanted. She says this love is the source of her creativity, allowing her to experience completeness, joy, and genuine fulfillment.

More recently, Katy Perry drew inspiration from this emotional state when she wrote her song “Bandaids.” Released shortly after her breakup with the actor known for Pirates of the Caribbean became public in June 2025, the song includes a gentle reference to her five-year-old child.

In her song, Katy reflects that even if she could relive everything, she wouldn’t change a thing, stating, “I would still do it all over again.” She believes the love they shared ultimately made it all worthwhile.

In the music video, Katy—who began dating Justin Trudeau in July 2025—makes this connection even clearer.

In the music video, the singer, known for her song “Roar,” goes through a tough time. She finds a daisy growing from the ground, which gives her a burst of energy just in time to dodge an approaching train.

Indeed, Katy has emphasized that being a mom makes everything else seem much less important.

She shared in a 2021 Instagram Live that becoming a mother simplifies life and is incredibly rewarding. She encourages others to embrace motherhood when they feel prepared.
