Where do you know the Directive 8020 cast from?
Directive 8020 features a cast of actors with a wide range of backgrounds, and many of them are new to video games. Here’s where you might have seen some of them before:
Lashana Lynch – Young

Lashana Lynch, the lead in Directive 8020 and arguably its most famous actor, is widely recognized for her roles as Nomi – who took over the 007 designation in the James Bond film No Time to Die – Bianca Pullman in the upcoming The Day of the Jackal, and Maria Rambeau in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
Lynch, the 2022 BAFTA Rising Star Award recipient, is known for her roles in films like Matilda the Musical, The Woman King, Bob Marley: One Love, and Still Star-Crossed. Her work on Directive 8020 marks her debut in the world of video games.
Danny Sapani – Stafford

Many will recognize Danny Sapani from his roles as Sembene in Penny Dreadful, Jamie in Killing Eve, and Tony Morecombe in Misfits. However, gamers might best know him as Captain Jacob Keyes from the Halo series.
He’s played supporting roles in popular productions like The Crown, where he portrayed Ghana’s first president, Kwame Nkrumah, as well as in Star Wars: The Last Jedi, the Black Panther movies, and Doctor Who.
Lotte Verbeek – Eisele

Lotte Verbeek is a Dutch actress, dancer, and model who is best known for playing Guilia Farnese in the series The Borgias and Geillis Duncan in Outlander.
I was surprised to learn that Directive 8020 is actually her first video game role! I recognized her from movies like The Fault in Our Stars, Nuremberg, The Last Witch Hunter, and The Book of Vision, so it’s cool she’s branching out into gaming now.

She’s performed in several Shakespeare plays, including the roles of Peta in Romeo and Juliet and Ophelia in Hamlet.
Anneika Rose – Simms
I’ve been seeing Anneika Rose pop up in so many great British shows lately! You might recognize her – she played Maggie Kean in Shetland, PC Farida Jatri in Line of Duty, Lila Shariff in Ackley Bridge, and Abhi in Crossfire. She’s seriously been in everything good!
In addition to her work on screen, she’s performed in several Shakespeare productions, including roles like Juliet in Romeo and Juliet, Hero in Much Ado About Nothing, Hermia in A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Queen Isabel in Richard II, with the Royal Shakespeare Company and other theater groups.
Frank Blake – Carter
Okay, so you might recognize Frank Blake – he’s an Irish actor who’s been in a bunch of cool shows I’ve watched. I remember him as Alan in Normal People, and he was great as Shane Bradley in Blue Lights. He also played Seamus Wright in Say Nothing, and I recently saw him as Captain Declan Fraser in Sanditon. He’s really versatile!
