A popular series from Shonen Jump is returning for a third season, and a new trailer has been released to announce its comeback. Shonen Jump has seen a lot of change recently, with many long-running stories ending, but several anime adaptations have kept fans engaged. While some of these shows have been more popular than others, they’ve all benefited from loyal audiences.
Hajime Komoto’s Mashle: Magic and Muscles quickly transitioned from a popular manga to a hit anime. The anime adaptation launched shortly after the manga concluded in 2023, and its second season went viral in 2024, largely due to its catchy opening theme. A third season is already planned for 2027, and a new preview has just been released showcasing a key villain who will appear in the upcoming episodes. You can see it below.
Mashle Season 3 Confirms 2027 Release With New Look

The latest preview of Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 3 introduces Domina Blowelive, a key villain in the upcoming Tri-Magic-Athalon Divine Visionary Final Exam Arc. As the number of remaining candidates dwindles, Mash and his friends will face incredible challenges to succeed in the exam. As often happens in tournament arcs in Shonen Jump, the situation will quickly escalate beyond anyone’s expectations—except, perhaps, Mash, who seems capable of overcoming any obstacle.
Season 3 of Mashle: Magic and Muscles is expected to premiere in 2027, though an exact release date hasn’t been confirmed yet. You can currently watch the first two seasons on streaming platforms like Netflix, Crunchyroll, and Hulu. The new season will continue the story directly after the events of Season 2, which concluded in 2024.
What’s Going on With Mashle?

Season 3 of Mashle: Magic and Muscles will largely be made by the same team as before. Tomoya Tanaka is back as director at A-1 Pictures, Yosuke Kuroda will write the scripts, and Masaru Yokoyama will compose the music. The only change is that Chiaki Furuzumi is now in charge of character design, taking over from Hisashi Higashijima. Good news for fans – the new season will jump right into the exciting climax of the Divine Visionary Arc.
This arc is near the end of the original Mashle manga, leaving fans wondering how much of the story this new season will cover. It’s possible the anime might conclude with a fourth or fifth season, but we’ll have to wait and see how the upcoming episodes play out to know for sure.
