Biker Mice from Mars Showcases Original Franchise Character Ahead of Animated Debut in New Series Preview

As a lifelong fan, I’m thrilled to hear that Biker Mice from Mars is back! It feels like ages since we last saw Throttle, Modo, and Vinnie, but they’re gearing up for a new animated series. And it’s not just the core team returning – lots of familiar faces, both good and bad, will be there too. Plus, they’re adding some new characters, and we’re finally getting a first peek at what the series will look like before it even premieres. I can’t wait!

The popular Biker Mice from Mars are coming back to television after a successful comic book run. Joining them will be a new character named Scorch, and Oni Press has just given fans a first look at her series. Based on the preview images, Scorch looks like she’s going to shake things up for the Biker Mice – she won’t necessarily be an ally, but she might not be an enemy either. Check out the preview images below!

Scorch Is About To Make A Major Impact on Biker Mice From Mars

The first issue of Scorch kicks off a four-part story that explores the origins and motivations of the newest character in the Biker Mice universe. This series will reveal how she connects to both the Biker Mice and their enemies, the Plutarkians. Expect a full reveal of this new anti-hero’s story, and prepare for it to significantly impact the future of the franchise.

As a huge fan of Biker Mice From Mars, I’m so excited about what’s coming next! Writer Matt Hotson let slip that they’ve had ideas for the next story arc for ages, but Scorch really took the reins. Apparently, every time the writers thought they knew where the story was going, Scorch would throw a wrench in the works – and honestly, when your main character is wielding a flamethrower-hammer, you probably should let her! From the very beginning, when the Biker Mice first hit the Martian roads, all the way through their adventures in the soggy wastelands of Planet Plutark, Scorch’s story is going to completely change everything we thought we knew about the series.

The first issue of Scorch, written by Matt Hotson (known for his work on Power Rangers: The Return), will arrive in comic shops this August. Ken Marion (Nightwing) is providing the artwork. The issue will also feature a variety of covers by artists including Tango (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Rita’s Rewind), Eleonora Carlini (Marauders), AJ Jothikumar (The Great Garloo), and Simon Bisley (Lobo).

Biker Mice From Mars: Scorch #1 will hit comic stores on August 12, 2026.
