Guide: These 24+ New PS5 and PS Plus Games Are Coming Out Next Week (18th-24th May)

Next week is shaping up to be great for PlayStation fans! Lots of new games are coming to both PS5 owners and PlayStation Plus members.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight is a definite standout, but don’t overlook Bubsy 4D and Warhammer 40k: Speed Freeks – they might be surprisingly good too.

Each month, the PS Plus Extra and PS Plus Premium catalogs are updated with a lot of great games, and this month includes a classic light gun game that supports motion controls.

Here’s everything coming out next week.

New PS5 Games Next Week (18th-24th May)

  • Darksiders: Warmastered Edition (19th May – PS5): “Deceived by the forces of evil into prematurely bringing about the end of the world, War – the first Horseman of the Apocalypse – stands accused of breaking the sacred law by inciting a war between Heaven and Hell.   • Savara (20th May – PS5): “In this dynamic and colorful action roguelite, delve into a fascinating universe where each decision matters and where strategy is rewarded. You’ve been invited to take part in grandiose festivities organized for the pleasure of Iop the warrior god. These aren’t your typical celebrations – they were designed to put the most valiant fighters in the dimension to the test.”
  • Coffee Talk Tokyo (21st May – PS5): “Coffee Talk Tokyo is the newest instalment of the beloved coffee brewing and heart-to-heart talking simulator. It brings the warmth, heart, and delicious drinks from the previous games to an all-new café in Tokyo where humans and yokai alike share their stories.”
  • Gallipoli (21st May – PS5): “What began on mainland Europe, was never likely to end there… Prepare for relentless WW1 beach landings and desert warfare across the Ottoman Fronts in Gallipoli!”
  • King of Tokyo (21st May – PS5): “Turn into a kaiju as you destroy everything in your path in this fast-paced dice game! Roll the dice and find the best possible combinations to rule over Tokyo, whether you choose to heal yourself, attack, buy cards or win Victory Points.”
  • Luna Abyss (21st May – PS5): “You are a prisoner sentenced to explore a derelict megastructure that sprawls deep beneath the surface of the mimic moon Luna. You are tasked with recovering forgotten technology from within the Abyss and the lost colony it consumed. Every move you make will be overseen by your artificial prison guard named Aylin.”
  • Psyviar 3 (21st May – PS5): “Play as one of 7 pilots, including Cotton from the Cotton series, in this thrilling sequel to a SHMUP classic.”
