5 PS Plus Extra Game Removals for June 2026 Confirmed

Here’s the latest update on your PlayStation Plus Extra games! Eight new titles are now available as part of the May 2026 rotation, and we’ve also announced which games will be leaving the service next month. Five games will no longer be available after June 16th, 2026.

As per the Last Chance to Play section on PS5 consoles, they are:

  • We Love Katamari REROLL + Royal Reverie (PS5, PS4)
  • LEGO The Incredibles (PS4)
  • Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game Complete Edition (PS4)
  • Red Dead Redemption (PS5, PS4)

Unlike the basic PS Plus Essential tier, where games remain yours as long as you’re subscribed, the PS Plus Extra tier only lets you play games while they’re still available on the service. If you enjoy any of these games, you’ll need to purchase them separately after June 16, 2026, to keep playing.

The removal of Red Dead Redemption is noteworthy, but it follows a pattern Rockstar Games has established. Similar to what happened with Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2, they typically make their games available on a subscription service for about six months before moving them to a different one.

Red Dead Redemption 2 and Grand Theft Auto V have each been available on PlayStation Plus Extra three times now, usually for about three to six months at a time. Because of this pattern, it’s probable that Red Dead Redemption will be added back to the service again, likely before the end of 2026.

Okay, so if you’re looking for some fun games to check out before they leave PlayStation Plus Extra, I highly recommend Scott Pilgrim vs. The World: The Game and We Love Katamari. They’re both really awesome, and you’ve got less than a month to play them before they’re gone from the service, so I’m definitely planning to give them a go!
