If you saw our review, you know we really enjoyed LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight. We even suggested it shows Warner Bros. Games hasn’t fully realized the potential of the Batman universe, but we’re not alone in our positive opinion. A new trailer highlights what critics are saying, and many praise the game’s open world, visuals, and how well it captures the feeling of being Batman. The story also includes lots of references to classic Batman moments.
The game feels strongly inspired by Rocksteady’s Arkham series, which still sets the standard for Batman games, and it successfully adds a bit of humor to the typically dark world of Gotham City. Fans will appreciate the familiar stealth mechanics, fluid combat, and numerous Easter eggs. The expansive open world is packed with activities and secrets, offering hours of engaging gameplay.
Still deciding whether to play LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight? The trailer should help you make up your mind! It’s currently available on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC, and will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2 later. Plus, TT Games has added extra content, letting you play as The Joker and Harley Quinn in the new Mayhem Mode.
