The Pitt’s Sepideh Moafi Addresses Noah Wyle Feud Rumors

There was no bad blood between Noah Wyle and Sepideh Moafi during the second season of The Pitt.

Moafi, who played Dr. Baran Al-Hashimi – a doctor training to take over for Dr. Robby Robinavitch (played by Wyle) while he was going on leave – has said reports of disagreements with her fellow actors are untrue.

“Definitely not,” the actress told Variety in an interview published on May 27th. “We get along really well as coworkers.”

Moafi explained that a strong working relationship with the show allowed them to tackle the difficult scenes in the season two finale. Specifically, she felt comfortable portraying the intense confrontation where Robby aggressively questioned Al-Hashimi about her seizure disorder and threatened to expose her for not fully disclosing her medical condition as a doctor.

We were just chatting and joking around between takes,” the 40-year-old explained. “So, the idea that we have some personal conflict or rivalry is completely untrue, as far as I know.

She added, “You can check with Noah, but I don’t know about this.”

As a huge fan, I was really worried about Moafi’s character ending on such an uncertain note – it felt like her future was hanging in the balance! There was a lot of talk online about whether the writers did that because of supposed issues between her and Camilo Wyle, who’s also a producer on the show. But Moafi herself has said that wasn’t the reason at all, which is a relief to hear. It’s good to know the open ending was a creative choice and not due to any behind-the-scenes drama.

As she bluntly put it, “I do not have that power.”

Still, the Deuce alum confirmed that she will be returning for another season.

Moafi admitted they don’t have a clear understanding of the show’s future – things like the number of episodes are still unknown – but confirmed they will be returning.

Information about season three is limited right now. But, actor Wilson Cruz recently hinted that the new episodes are expected to be set in late fall, following the events of season two which took place over the Fourth of July weekend.

According to a recent interview with People, the 54-year-old explained that winter brings an increase in problems like car accidents, icy roads, and heating system failures. They also noted a change in fashion and overall atmosphere during the colder months.

But until season three gets a premiere date, keep reading for more upcoming TV releases…

I’ve been completely captivated by The Listeners. It centers around Claire, who starts hearing this strange hum that no one else around her – not even her husband or daughter – can detect. It’s not just annoying, though; it actually causes her physical pain – migraines, nosebleeds, and she can’t sleep. The worst part is, doctors can’t find anything wrong! As weeks go by, it really starts to wear her down and affects all her relationships. Then she meets a student who can hear it too, and they form this intense bond, a friendship that quickly becomes something much stronger… but it ultimately leads to really tragic events. It’s a deeply unsettling and gripping story.
