Season 2 of Deli Boys is here, bringing with it some exciting new guest stars and cameos. The show still stars Saagar Shaikh and Asif Ali as Raj and Mir, the Dar brothers who run DarCo. You might recognize Shaikh from his roles as Aamir Khan in Ms. Marvel and The Marvels, and Ali has been in popular shows like Don’t Worry Darling (2022), The Mandalorian (2019), WandaVision (2021), and Agatha All Along (2024).
Poorna Jagannathan is returning as Lucky Auntie in the popular Hulu series Deli Boys, and continues to be a standout performer, guiding her nephews into a life of crime. Jake Prinzant reprises his role as Matthew, Baba Dar’s longtime assistant, and Brian George is back as the villain Ahmad. Amita Rao also returns as Nandika, Raj’s wife.
Season 2 of Deli Boys is just getting started, and this episode introduces a host of new characters and some familiar faces making cameo appearances. These new players largely serve as the latest rivals for DarCo, following Raj, Mir, and Lucky’s victory over Director Simpson (Tim Baltz) and Agent Mercer (Alexandra Ruddy) at the end of season 1. As you’d expect in a show like this, new villains – and a few potential allies – are needed to shake things up, and Hulu has cast a fantastic group of actors to fill those roles.
Fred Armisen As Max Sugar
Date Of Birth: December 4, 1966
- Active Since: 1984
Season 2 of Deli Boys gets a huge boost from the addition of Fred Armisen, the well-known actor, comedian, and musician. Originally from Mississippi and raised in New York, Armisen started his career as a drummer in 1984. He became famous in the 2000s as a cast member on Saturday Night Live (2002-2013), which opened the door to many memorable roles. You might recognize him from films like EuroTrip (2004), Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy (2004), The Dictator (2012), and The Super Mario Bros. Movie (2023), as well as TV shows like The Last Man on Earth (2018) and Wednesday (2022-present), and many other projects.

In Deli Boys, Fred Armisen plays Max Sugar, a wealthy casino owner who makes a deal with the Dars to clean their drug money. While Max initially seems cheerful and nice, season 2 of Deli Boys reveals he’s a dangerous man not to be underestimated. He’s violent and ruthless, but his affection for Lucky keeps the Dars safe—for a while, at least.
Andrew Rannells As Andrew Chadwater
Date Of Birth: August 23, 1978
- Active Since: 1994
Actor Andrew Rannells joins the cast of Deli Boys season 2 as a new villain. Originally from Omaha, Nebraska, Rannells began his career doing voice work in the 1990s and early 2000s. He later became a Broadway star, famously originating the role of Elder Kevin Price in The Book of Mormon in 2011. He’s also appeared in films like A Simple Favor (2018) and Miss You, Love You (2026), and has been a regular on TV shows including Girls (2012-2017), Big Mouth (2017-2025), and Black Monday (2019-2021).

Chadwater’s campaign focuses on fighting drugs, and he’s especially determined to take down the Dars, believing they’re major drug dealers. He thinks arresting them will win him the election. Like other villains in Deli Boys, Chadwater is odd, pushy, and a little out of touch, but that doesn’t make him any less dangerous.
Kumail Nanjiani As Danyal

Kumail Nanjiani, a Pakistani-American comedian and actor, would be a great addition to season 2 of Deli Boys. Nanjiani’s big break came with the HBO series Silicon Valley (2014-2019), which led to roles in films such as Sex Tape (2014), The Big Sick (2017), and Eternals (2021), among others.
