Rumour: Rayman PS5 Remake to Feature Astro Bot, Will Be Revealed at State of Play

It wouldn’t be Ubisoft without a leak or 15, would it?

For days, people have been talking about a possible remake of Rayman Legends, originally released in 2013. It was first announced as a game only for the Wii U.

According to reliable sources like billbil-kun, pre-orders will start on June 2nd, though the exact time is still unclear. Another trusted insider, NatetheHate, reports the full reveal will happen during Sony’s State of Play event.

The game is expected to release on October 1st and will be a complete reimagining of the original, now with 3D graphics. It will also star a newly designed main character.

PS5 players can look forward to some fun extras! The game will include character costumes based on Astro Bot, as well as outfits inspired by the French game, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33.

Rayman was already featured as a collectible character in Team Asobi’s popular platformer, so this collaboration feels like a natural fit.

A logo has surfaced for a remastered version of Rayman Origins, hinting that two Rayman remakes might be released this year.

Honestly, given how often information gets out, I wasn’t shocked to see trailers appear earlier than expected. It’s become pretty typical for Ubisoft, though.

It seems an official announcement is coming soon, likely within the next few days.
