We’ve discussed what we expect to see at the upcoming PlayStation State of Play. Hopefully, Sony will keep the real surprises a secret until the livestream on June 2nd – it’s always more exciting that way!
We don’t mind at all that the special menu for Alamo Drafthouse screenings of the event has been revealed.
This is the first State of Play presentation shown in movie theaters across the US, which is noteworthy even though Sony owns the theater chain.
The cinema is known for its food, and a sneak peek at their special menu inspired by Marvel’s Wolverine has somehow appeared online.
The origin of this information is unclear, but a social media post by Nico Partners analyst Daniel Ahmad is what initially drew attention to it and quickly spread online.
So what’s PlayStation cooking?

- Warm pretzel sticks coated with garlic-basil oil, topped with parmesan cheese, and served with marinara dipping sauce
- Rage Pizza $20
- San Marzano sauce, pepperoni, bacon, pork sausage, roasted mushrooms, signature cheese blend and parmesan topped with a ranch drizzle
- Last Stand $16
- Wheatley Small Batch Vodka, Mr Black Cold Brew Coffee Liqueur, Liber & Co. Demerara Gum Syrup, cold brew coffee
- Mutant Instinct $16
- Crown Royal Canadian Whiskey, Illegal Mezcal, Lime, Pineapple Gum Syrup
Everything shown here focuses on X-Men and Wolverine, so it doesn’t really tell us much about PlayStation’s plans overall.
It would be terrible if guests arrived at the theater and had the show ruined as soon as their food order came, wouldn’t it?
