Sony is rapidly growing its collection of gaming accessories, including the recently announced FlexStrike arcade stick and a new 27-inch monitor designed for PlayStation.
But one product which will be of interest to many are the new Pulse Elevate wireless speakers.
The manufacturer didn’t share pricing or a specific launch date today, but confirmed it will arrive sometime after August 27th, following the release of their new display. We can likely expect it in September or October.
These speakers look great on paper, boasting planar magnetic drivers that are designed to deliver incredibly accurate sound across all frequencies you can hear.
These headphones also connect using PlayStation Link, which delivers high-quality, lag-free sound.
These speakers are designed to be easily moved and placed wherever you need them. The battery lasts for about 12 hours on a single charge, and you can recharge them simply by placing them back on their docks.
A helpful extra is the ability to answer calls with these, and they use AI to block out any background noise so only your voice is heard.
Whether this will actually work remains to be seen, and the price will likely be the most important factor. However, it’s encouraging to hear that these plans are still moving forward.
