7 Coronation Street spoilers for next week: Sam Blakeman reaches crisis point and evil Megan Walsh plots

Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) takes a turn for the worse in Coronation Street next week.

Things really start to unravel for my character as my hallucinations get much worse. I genuinely believe Will Driscoll is out to get me, and it’s terrifying because I start seeing two Roy Croppers at once – it’s completely disorienting and messes with my head. It’s like my brain can’t decide which Roy is real!

I’m really worried about Will. He’s dealing with so much, and now Megan Walsh – his abuser, Beth Nixon – has tricked him into meeting her at the Freschco carpark. It’s a dangerous situation, and I fear what might happen.

Summer Spellman tries desperately to escape from prison, and all eyes turn back to Gary Windass.

Daniel Osbourne will meet with a social worker, and Tyrone Dobbs finally admits to his wife, Fiz, that he was involved in Carl Webster’s accident.

Here’s everything happening in Coronation Street between Sunday 7 and Friday 12 June.

7 Coronation Street spoilers for next week

1. Summer Spellman is hospitalised

Everyone is stunned when Todd gets a call from the prison saying Summer has been taken to the hospital. The situation becomes even more serious when Summer reveals her illness wasn’t an accident.

Facing immense difficulty with imprisonment, she intentionally disabled her insulin pump as a way to cope with the harshness of her situation.

Todd is shocked by what he learns and quickly tells his friends at the Rovers. During the conversation, it becomes clear that someone is feeling guilty about something.

Could it be Tyrone, who lied to the police about seeing Summer on the night of Theo’s death?

Todd later came to see Asha and Nina while Summer was resting. The visit was very emotional, and Summer confessed she was scared to go back to prison, feeling hopeless about what lay ahead.

Kit couldn’t shake the feeling that something was wrong. He noticed a pattern of hushed, suspicious conversations and grew more and more certain that things weren’t as they seemed.

2. Maria Connor is worried about her marriage to Gary Windass

Kit, still trying to find out what happened to Todd’s phone, goes back to questioning Gary. Gary insists he doesn’t know anything, but Kit doesn’t believe him and suspects he’s hiding something.

I was really struck by Kit’s determination when he told Lisa he truly believed Gary was keeping something back. He seemed so sure of it, and promised himself he’d find out what Gary was hiding, no matter what.

Maria is already worried about Gary’s recent actions, and she’s finding it hard to hide her fears that their relationship is in trouble. Things get even more difficult when Kit lets Maria know he’s still interested in Gary.

Maria, feeling sad, is waiting for her husband at Speed Daal. She confides in Shona, telling her she’s been worried about her relationship with Gary for a while now and fears it might be failing.

Things get more complicated when Gary apologizes for disappointing her, and then Kit and Lisa show up out of the blue. Lisa explains they need Maria to review her testimony again, which clearly upsets Gary.

What have the police found?

3. Daniel Osbourne is visited by a social worker

Daniel is nervously awaiting a visit from social worker Ruth Hawley (Amy Drake). He tries to put Adam and Alya at ease by thanking them for their support and letting them know he thinks he knows who contacted social services about him.

Who could have reported him, and is his theory correct?

4. David Platt makes an accusation about Jodie Ramsey

Okay, so Shona’s really upset in this episode. It turns out David can’t find Harper’s five-month milestone card, and it throws a wrench in their plans for a special photo shoot at the hospital. Honestly, it’s a small thing, but it’s clearly a big deal to Shona, and you can really feel her disappointment. It’s one of those moments that feels very relatable – losing a sentimental keepsake and missing out on a memory you were looking forward to.

Things get heated back at the house when David blames Jodie for taking the card, making the already strained atmosphere even worse.

Wanting to make things right, David planned a special romantic evening for Shona. He surprised her with a gift box filled with cherished keepsakes – things like photos from Harper’s ultrasound, her hospital ID bracelet, and a sweet baby outfit.

5. Sam Blakeman takes a devastating turn for the worse as Megan Walsh dupes Will Driscoll

Will confides in Hope that he’s thinking about stopping sports altogether, as competing constantly brings back painful memories of Megan. Hope encourages him not to give up, arguing that quitting would be letting Megan control his life, and he shouldn’t let that happen.

Watching the exchange from afar is Sam, whose thoughts are becoming increasingly troubled.

Shortly after, he begins to fantasize about Roy urging him to get rid of Will completely. When he objects, saying he’s not a violent person, the imaginary Roy accuses him of being a coward and ends their friendship.

The experience really bothered Sam. Afterwards, he mentioned something that Will had done before, but the actual Roy had no idea what he was talking about.

So, Will mentioned to Hope he was catching up with an old running buddy from Hull. Turns out, it was a total setup! He gets there and it’s not his friend waiting, but Megan! He immediately knows something’s up and is left wondering what she’s after – it’s a classic movie twist, honestly.

Sam’s condition worsens as he wanders the streets, haunted by visions of Roy. He goes to the Rovers and finds Will playing a game by himself in the back. Driven by increasingly paranoid thoughts, Sam becomes convinced that Will is planning to harm him.

Sam suddenly panicked and ran away. Will, worried about him, followed. Sam burst into a café and locked the door, and what happened next was terrifying – he confronted both the actual Roy and a hallucination of him.

Nick, Toyah, and Leanne are outside, begging their son to open the door, and the argument is quickly escalating.

Okay, so things really start to unravel here. I noticed he makes a run for it, and later, Carla catches him alone at the station – he’s clearly shaken up. She tries to be comforting, a really nice moment, but she’s also quietly calling for backup, Nick. The problem is, as soon as Nick and David show up, he takes off again. It’s a frustrating pattern, and you can feel the tension building with each escape.

A shaken Carla fears the worst and suggests that Sam may be suffering from psychosis.

6. Tyrone Dobbs comes clean to wife Fiz

Carl told Tyrone he’s been having strong, clear memories of the night he was hurt, and now believes it actually happened in the garage. This news really upset Tyrone.

Haunted by guilt over Summer being in prison, he finally cracks and confesses to Fiz that he was responsible for Carl’s accident and had been trying to cover it up to protect himself.

Fiz was shocked to learn what Carl had done and immediately demanded Tyrone give her the video showing Carl messing with Kevin’s brakes.

7. The Weatherfield women gather together to help Debbie Webster

Debbie was overjoyed when her friends Christina, Glenda, and Sally surprised her with a trip to Spain.

Later, Ronnie gathers Debbie’s besties in the Rovers and announces that he has a plan.
