As a long-time viewer of the show, I was really gripped by Charity Dingle’s storyline recently. She was already on edge about a secret potentially coming out at Sarah Sugden’s 21st birthday, but things took a really dark turn when she was attacked. It was genuinely shocking to watch and definitely raised the stakes for her character.
Meanwhile, Archie Breckle employs AI to replicate the voice of a past resident, and Lydia Dingle questions her husband, Sam, about his connection with Laurel Thomas.
Gabby Thomas faces a troubling new challenge, and Graham Foster tries to connect with Kyle Winchester.

1. Charity Dingle is assaulted amid her war with Dr Caitlin Todd
Honestly, I’m completely hooked on this storyline! Sarah’s turning twenty-one, and it looks like everyone’s about to find out who her baby’s father really is. Charity is desperately trying to do whatever Dr. Todd wants, hoping to prevent a total disaster. It’s all so tense!
Overwhelmed with guilt and drinking more and more, she finally confronts Todd, demanding he reveal the shocking secret that’s been haunting them.
To everyone’s surprise, she backed down. Realizing she would publicly ruin Sarah’s future, she couldn’t bring herself to do it.
She surprisingly opened up to Charity, confessing she’s strangely drawn to the trouble that always seems to find her. For a short time, they put their conflict aside when Todd suggested the secret would stay hidden.
Later that day, Charity’s troubling impulses returned, and she unexpectedly became involved in a disturbing attack.
Is Todd responsible?
2. Archie Breckle clones Steph Miligan’s voice
With Jai Sharma currently in Canada, Billy Fletcher has been assisting Caleb Miligan with finding new clients. Billy quickly makes a good impression by landing a potentially valuable deal, which impresses Caleb. However, Kerry Pollard feels overlooked as Billy gains more recognition at work.
I could really feel her disappointment when Caleb doubted how dedicated she was, especially after she’d rushed out of work to get Archie. It felt unfair to question her like that.
Shortly after, Caleb’s daughter, Steph, called needing money right away. Believing her story, Caleb gave Billy access to his bank account and asked him to transfer £5,000 as a deposit on a flat in London.
Meanwhile, Ruby Miligan tells Chas Dingle that Steph is happily living in Thailand with a new partner.

I recently learned a fascinating, and frankly disturbing, detail about Archie at Farrers Barn. He’s been tinkering with AI, specifically creating a digital replica of Steph’s voice. But things take a dark turn when a hefty £5,000 unexpectedly lands in his account. It’s then you realize – and I certainly did – that Archie wasn’t just passively observing Caleb’s misfortune. He was the one behind it all, the mastermind of the scam. It’s a shocking reveal that completely reframes his character.
The next day, Kerry received a pricey computer that Archie had bought with the stolen money.
Her suspicions begin to mount, and before long her worst fears are confirmed. How will she respond?
3. Kim Tate voices her concerns about Sam Dingle’s “affair”
Sam is getting much better at dancing, but he’s still hiding things from Kim Tate, repeatedly telling her he’s somewhere else when he’s actually at his lessons.
Ross Barton really wants to be around Laurel, but his attempts are making her feel uneasy. Things get worse when Kim sees Sam leaving Laurel’s house and jumps to the conclusion that they’re having an affair.
Nicola King is worried after finding out Laurel is feeling guilty. Meanwhile, Kim shares her concerns about Sam and Laurel with Lydia, but immediately wishes she hadn’t, realizing she’s caused Lydia to doubt them too.
Ross is having a hard time coming to terms with Laurel ending their secret relationship, especially before their feelings grow stronger. Meanwhile, Lydia starts to believe Kim’s suspicions and, wanting the truth, decides to challenge her husband openly.
Lydia bursts into the Woolpack and sees Sam hugging Laurel, which immediately makes her think her worst fears are true. Believing she’s caught them being unfaithful, she confronts Sam.
Is Laurel’s relationship with Ross about to be exposed?
4. Gabby Thomas takes a worrying turn
Gabby recently introduced her line of healthy foods at The Hide Bistro and is thrilled with the fantastic feedback she’s receiving. Feeling encouraged by the positive reaction, she’s taking a moment to enjoy her achievement.
But when she’s by herself, she immediately starts browsing social media. What begins as casual scrolling quickly becomes concerning, as her interest in healthy eating leads her to increasingly harmful content.
5. Graham Foster attempts to steer Kyle Winchester onto the right path
Noticing that Kyle and Cain are drifting apart, Graham advises Kyle to talk to his father and share what’s on his mind.
He wants to comfort and help Kyle, so he gives him a special keepsake from his time in the SAS – a vintage watch.
