Love Island USA is back for its eighth season meaning that summer is finally here!
The American adaptation of the popular British show didn’t gain widespread attention until 2024. Last year’s season then became a massive hit for Peacock, becoming their most-watched original unscripted series ever, with viewers watching over 18 billion minutes of content.
With the new season generating a lot of excitement, there’s a lot riding on this year’s show. Luckily, the cast seems promising – eleven new singles are heading to the villa in Fiji, and Ariana Madix will be there to guide them.
The show was initially planned to feature twelve contestants, but Vasana Montgomery, who had been confirmed as a participant, was removed from the lineup before filming began.
While we eagerly await seeing how the new US Islanders adjust to life in the villa, let’s take a closer look at the cast of Love Island USA season 8.

Aniya Harvey
Age: 23
Job: Former college volleyball player

Aniya is the daughter of former NBA player Donnell Harvey. She’s joining Love Island USA hoping to find a partner, and says she’s eager to fall in love after being single for half a year.
Beatriz Hatz
Age: 25
Job: Professional athlete
Location: San Diego, California

Beatriz Hatz is a Paralympic athlete who had a leg amputated when she was just 10 months old. She’s competed in two Paralympic Games, Tokyo 2020 and Paris 2024, and earned a bronze medal in Paris.
Bryce Dettloff
Age: 29
Job: Model/DJ/handyman
Location: Los Angeles, California

Bryce is hoping to find a partner and has joked about feeling his age – he’s the oldest person competing on this season of the show.
Bryce described his ideal partner as a confident, assertive woman who isn’t afraid to speak her mind and challenge him.
Gabriel Vasconcelos

Gabriel, originally from Brazil, now calls Miami home and is ready to heat things up on Love Island USA. He’s trilingual – he speaks Portuguese, Spanish, and English – but jokes that he’s really fluent in the language of kissing!
KC Chandler

Job: Nursing assistant

KC, a fit nursing assistant who wears scrubs, says he gets a lot of attention from women, but hasn’t found lasting love yet. He’s hoping to make a ‘real connection’ on Love Island USA, though he’s a little hesitant to open up and be vulnerable.
Kenzie Annis

Job: Nursing school graduate/nanny

Okay, so I’m already obsessed with Kenzie! She just finished college and is seriously ready for a relationship – she’s been single for almost two years and is so excited to meet some guys on Love Island USA. Trinity Tatum

Trinity is the youngest contestant joining the cast this season. Despite a recent heartbreak, she’s optimistic about finding love and says, “I love love!” She even left her job at a hardware store to appear on Love Island USA.
Zach Georgio
Age: 26
Job: Content creator
Location: Birmingham, UK

Zach is the only contestant from Britain currently on Love Island USA. He lives between Birmingham, England and Adelaide, Australia. Viewers might recognize him – his brother Charlie was on the show last year and looked very similar! Unfortunately, Charlie was eliminated after just nine days, so Zach is determined to have a longer run.
