Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce swear they’re gonna marry each other someday.

However, the specifics are still being kept secret. Although there’s been growing speculation for months that the wedding might take place in Rhode Island, Senator Sheldon Whitehouse recently offered his thoughts on the matter.

He told TMZ on June 2nd that he wasn’t sure if she’d be visiting Rhode Island, but he really hopes she does. He’d be thrilled to have her there.

Although the senator appears certain the large party won’t be held in his state, it would actually be a suitable location. Taylor Swift’s impressive 11,000-square-foot coastal home in Westerly would be an ideal place to host it.

The mansion has already hosted the singer’s yearly Fourth of July celebration, and there’s speculation that she and Travis might get married during that same weekend.

Taylor and Travis are keeping their wedding plans very private, so fans probably won’t know for sure if and when they’ve gotten married until after the event.

Taylor’s future sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce, has been giving sharp replies to people who ask about the wedding.

Kylie Kelce, who has four daughters with her husband Jason Kelce, recently asked people to stop asking her and her mother-in-law about potential wedding plans. Speaking on her podcast, Not Gonna Lie, she said she understands most people are just curious, but she has no details to share and no one is going to tell anyone anything.

She requested that the media respect her family’s privacy, particularly that of her mother-in-law, Donna Kelce.

Her two-hour interview appeared just 13 days before she and Travis Kelce announced their engagement. However, Travis’s father mentioned they had already told close friends and family about their relationship three days prior to the podcast episode.

Travis choosing to play another season in the NFL impacts their strategy, giving them until July, when training camp begins, to prepare.

While the Chiefs tight end certainly could have gotten married in October, which is Taylor’s favorite month, saying it happened ‘during the bye week’ just doesn’t sound as romantic as if it had happened during a more relaxed period.

Taylor Swift is famous for her close friendships with many celebrities, but she revealed in October 2025 that she hadn’t started planning her bachelorette party yet.

We’re particularly hoping Haim will perform, but Taylor Swift joked that it would be difficult to prevent Ed Sheeran from also playing at her wedding.

She explained that Ed Sheeran is a natural performer, saying, ‘If there’s a stage, he’ll be on it.’ She added that he understands his audience and is dedicated to giving them what they enjoy, as she shared during an interview with Hits Radio in October 2025.

Taylor may love Travis so much she’d marry him with paper rings, but that won’t be the case.
