Dua Lipa and Callum Turner‘s sweet wedding tribute is one for the books.  

The couple celebrated the beginning of their love story at their wedding in Italy on June 5th, after legally marrying in London a few days before.

Dua Lipa and Callum Turner had two celebrations for their wedding. They first had a small, private legal ceremony on May 31st, where Dua wore a stunning Schiaparelli couture gown and over $500,000 worth of Bulgari jewelry. Then, they hosted a more elaborate wedding weekend in Palermo, Sicily, complete with a special display of colorful books that referenced the story of how they met and fell in love.

Callum recounted to the Sunday Times in 2025 how he and someone he was interested in had a chance encounter at dinner in Los Angeles. They discovered they were both reading the same book—a surprising coincidence! ‘I’d just finished chapter one,’ Callum explained, ‘and when I told her, she said she had too!’

Dua and Callum became a couple after realizing they both loved the same book, Trust, by Hernán Díaz. It was a natural connection, especially since Dua launched her Service 95 book club in 2022 and is passionate about reading.

Seriously, it felt like destiny! Dua actually said in British Vogue back in 2025 that there were so many ‘what if’ moments leading up to them finally meeting. Apparently, they were first introduced by Ruth Rogers at The River Cafe in London – can you even imagine?! But then, when Dua finally ran into Callum that night, her first thought was, ‘Wow, it’s that incredibly gorgeous guy from The River Cafe!’ I mean, I totally get it! Callum looked equally chic, switching up his sophisticated Ferragamo courthouse look for a relaxed-but-stylish linen Jacquemus suit and cool sunglasses.
