We expected Pocketpair to announce a release date for Palworld’s version 1.0, but we were surprised by how quickly it’s coming! It launches on July 10th, and they’ve just released a brand new cinematic trailer – you can watch it below.
The game introduces new areas – floating islands ideal for exploring with flying mounts. However, the skies aren’t safe! A powerful new enemy, the Serpent Pal, is lurking in the clouds, ready to challenge players. If the trailer is any indication, this aerial battle will be an unforgettable experience.
The game also introduces some new Pals, including one that can be used as a weapon. After defeating the Serpent, players gaze upon the World Tree, which appears to be the location of the final boss battle. While the specifics are still unknown, this marks the end of the current storyline, but the developers plan to continue supporting Palworld with future updates.
Pocketpair hasn’t shared many details about the upcoming 1.0 update for Palworld on Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, PS5, and PC. They’ve hinted it will be the game’s largest update yet, likely including new structures, equipment, armor, and gameplay features, in addition to improvements to survival crafting and creature collecting.
