Steam Makes 4 PC Games Free for Limited Time

Steam is currently giving away four PC games completely free! The selection includes a game originally made for Xbox, a retro-style title, and two other unique games. Once you download them, they’re yours to keep forever – these aren’t limited-time trials, but full, free games, so grab them before the offer ends!

Among the four free games currently available on Steam, the standout title is Gravity Circuit, a charming 2D platformer released in 2023. It typically costs $17, but boasts an “Overwhelmingly Positive” rating on Steam – the platform’s highest honor – based on reviews from over 2,100 players. You can grab it for free until June 14th. Another popular free game is Tell Me Why, a narrative adventure game originally an Xbox exclusive. Released in 2020, it has an 80% approval rating from nearly 8,000 users and is free on Steam until July 1st. Two other games are also being given away for free, but the terms of the offer are a little more complex.

Gravity Circuit

Gravity Circuit is a 2D platformer that takes inspiration from classic games of the 80s and 90s, and it’s received high praise with a score of 89 on Metacritic. You play as Kai, a skilled and mysterious hero on a journey through a futuristic world filled with intelligent robots.

Tell Me Why

Tell Me Why is a story-driven adventure game where the decisions you make change how the story unfolds. You play as twins who rely on a special connection to uncover secrets from their difficult history.

Linebound

Linebound is one of the games where getting it for free isn’t immediately obvious. It’s currently free for its first month, and since it was released on May 31st, it will be free until July 1st. We don’t know how much it will cost after that date.

Linebound is a unique two-player game where teamwork is key. One player draws platforms within a sketchbook while the other controls a hand-drawn character who navigates those creations in real time. It’s a puzzle platformer designed for local co-op, and the roles are different for each player.

PICO Park: Classic Edition

PICO Park used to cost money to play, but it’s now free. However, it won’t be available for much longer – the developers have announced it will be removed from stores soon, though they haven’t given a specific date. As of right now, you can still download and play it.

The game is a cooperative puzzle-action experience for 2 to 10 players. You can play with friends either in person or online, completing stages together.
