*Warning – contains major spoilers for Rivals season 2 episode 6.*
A sad event occurred on the latest episode of Rivals season 2: Claire Rushbrook’s character, Lady Monica Baddingham, was killed when a tree fell on her car during a storm.
She was driving Caitlin, the daughter of Declan and Maud, home and intended to tell Declan about her discovery: her husband, Tony, was having an affair with Maud. She had already decided to leave Tony, which made her unexpected death even more heartbreaking.
The first half of the season ended on a somber note, and viewers are eager to find out what happens in the remaining episodes.

Unfortunately, fans will have to wait a bit longer – the second part won’t be released until November 2026.
