
Originally, Halo: Combat Evolved was expected to launch this summer. As the summer progressed, it became clear the game would be released soon, if not delayed. We now have a confirmed release date, revealed in a trailer at the Xbox Games Showcase.
The Halo: Campaign Evolved Release Date Is Quite Soon
Halo: Combat Evolved is launching on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC on July 28th for $49.99. For $69.99, the Premium Edition lets players start playing on July 23rd and includes a digital art book, a short story, and a manual. It also comes with pre-order bonuses – two gun skins and two character skins – and the Alpha Halo Armory pack, which features five Master Chief skins and six weapon skins. Players with a PC Game Pass or Ultimate subscription will have access to the game on launch day.
The trailer features a fast-paced collection of scenes from both the original 2001 game and the 2011 version, with narration by Sergeant Major Avery Junior Johnson. It also includes brand new footage specific to Campaign Evolved.
