Rumour: Insider Hints The Simpsons Hit & Run Remaster ‘Is Happening’

Many fans have been hoping for a revival of The Simpsons Hit & Run. While it’s not confirmed, rumors suggest a remake is currently being developed.

I was listening to the VGC podcast, and Jordan Middler was talking about the new Spyro game, Spyro: A Realm Beyond. He then started hinting at something else Activision is working on – it sounds like they’ve got another project in the pipeline, and he knows about it! It’s exciting to think about what they’re up to next.

Activision is planning to revive some of its popular licensed games, and according to sources, the most requested revival is already in the works. They seem to be focusing on bringing back these titles with updated versions.

Although he doesn’t mention the game specifically, most people believe he’s referring to Hit & Run. It’s a popular, older Activision game that many fans have been hoping for a remake or remaster of.

Many fans love the old Simpsons open-world adventure game, and there’s been a lot of discussion lately about the possibility of a remake.

Middler believes something is about to happen, and it’s likely connected to the return of the game’s original creator, now operating as New Radical Games.

More recently, The Simpsons showrunner acknowledges the desire for Hit & Run to come back.

Honestly, I’m starting to really think this game is making a comeback – there’s been enough little hints and talk going around. But I get why some people are still skeptical, it’s all just bits and pieces right now, isn’t it?
