Persona 4 Revival: Release date, pre-orders, Collector’s Edition details and more

Okay, as a Persona fan, I’m seriously hyped right now! Not only did Atlus finally confirm Persona 6 is happening, but they also just gave us a release date for Persona 4 Golden on modern consoles! It’s a great time to be a Persona player.

Atlus has been consistently releasing popular games recently! With titles like Persona 3 Reload, Shin Megami Tensei V, and Metaphor: ReFantazio, it’s been a great time to be a fan of the studio.

And now, Persona 4 Golden is set for a return with an all-new remake coming later this year.

Here’s everything you need to know about Persona 4 Golden on PC, including when it comes out, where to pre-order, and the different versions available.

When is the Persona 4 Revival release date?

Persona 4 Revival will release on 18 February 2027.

The game will be released on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. Unfortunately, this means it won’t be available on older consoles.

The release date was confirmed as part of the game’s reveal at the June 2026 Xbox Games Showcase.

Will Persona 4 Revival come to Nintendo Switch 2?

At the time of writing, Persona 4 Revival will not be releasing on Nintendo Switch 2.

For many fans of Atlus, this probably will not come as much of a surprise.

As of now, Metaphor: ReFantazio doesn’t have a version for the Nintendo Switch. Similarly, Persona 3 Reload, released in 2024, wasn’t available on Switch until the release of the Switch 2 in October 2025.

Honestly, I’m guessing we’ll probably see a Switch 2 version around late 2027, but after the way Persona 3 Reloaded came out, it could easily be pushed to 2028, or even later than that. It’s hard to say for sure!

Will Persona 4 Revival be on Xbox Game Pass?

Persona 4 Revival will be launching on Xbox Game Pass.

The game is set to join the Game Pass Ultimate tier, as well as PC Game Pass.

If you have an Essential or Premium subscription, you’ll need to upgrade your subscription or buy the game separately to play it when it launches.

Can I pre-order Persona 4 Revival?

You can now pre-order Persona 4 Golden on Xbox Series X/S and PC through the Xbox Store.

With Xbox, you buy games from the same store no matter if you’re playing on a console or a PC.

Players who pre-order the game will get the P3R & P5R Extra BGM Set as a pre-order bonus.

PC and PlayStation 5 players can now find the game on Steam and the PlayStation Store, but it’s currently available to add to your wishlist only.

Is there a Persona 4 Revival Collector’s Edition?

A special, limited-edition version of Persona 4 Revival will be available for pre-order soon, though it isn’t officially called a Collector’s Edition.

As a big fan, I was really bummed to find out the P4R Limited Box is only being sold in Japan. It costs ¥18,480, which works out to about £86, $115, or €100. It’s a shame we can’t easily get it outside of Japan!

I was so excited when they finally showed the first trailer for Persona 4 Golden Revival at the Xbox Game Showcase in June 2026! It was amazing to see how much better the graphics look – everything feels so fresh and updated.
