Tales of Eternia Remastered Announced, Releasing October 16

We have a soft spot for role-playing games with anime-inspired art styles, and Tales of Eternia is one of the best in the series. It really stands out as a high-quality title within the genre.

A remastered version of the game is coming from TOSE and Bandai Namco on October 15th in Japan, and will be available worldwide on October 16th. The story centers around Reid and Farah, who try to help their friend Meredy uncover her mysterious past. As they progress, they become entangled in a much larger and unexpected adventure.

This updated version of the game features the beloved Aggressive Linear Battle Motion system, which makes fights more dynamic and engaging than before. It also includes helpful features like waypoints and the ability to skip enemy battles for a more casual experience. Players can speed up battles with an auto-battle mode and even switch the graphics and sound back to the original style for a retro feel.

A special Digital Deluxe Edition is available, which includes a digital art book, the game’s soundtrack, and some extra downloadable content. You can check out the trailer below to see the game in action before it launches on Nintendo Switch 2, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4 and 5, PC, and Nintendo Switch.
