PQube and Full Stop Studios have revealed The Detectorist Guild, a relaxing detective RPG taking place in a quiet English village in 1999. Players can expect the game on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC (via Steam) in early 2027.

About
Shiverly is a quiet village in Yorkshire, England, set around the year 2000. It’s a place of beautiful countryside, welcoming people, and hidden mysteries.
In The Detectorist Guild, you play as James, exploring a town and its beautiful countryside with a metal detector. He searches for lost items that hold clues to the area’s history. Locals frequently lose things, and it’s James’ job to find them, return them to their owners, and build relationships with the villagers.
But beneath the cosy surface lies something more. As James digs deeper into the village’s history, a dark mystery begins to emerge, drawing him and his family into a tale that connects past and present.
Donate historical discoveries to the local museum and learn their origins. Sell 20th Century antiques to the local Emporium and use the money to upgrade equipment to reach new depths and uncover more valuable treasures. Every field, footpath and forgotten corner could hide your next great discovery.
