Lindsay Arnold is officially a boy mom.
The former Dancing With the Stars contestant and her husband, Sam Cusick, welcomed their third child. They are also parents to daughters Sage, age 5, and June, age 3.
Lindsay announced the arrival of her baby boy on Instagram, sharing photos of herself with her newborn after a C-section. She expressed her gratitude and love for her new son.
Everyone connected to Lindsay’s Dancing with the Stars family was excited. Her younger sister, Rylee Arnold—who first appeared on the show in 2023—simply wrote “Yayyyyyy!” in the comments of a post on June 11th.
“He’s here!” Emma Slater enthused. “CONGRATULATIONS you guys!! So happy for you!”
The announcement comes almost four years after Lindsay stopped dancing professionally to dedicate herself to raising her family in Utah. In a 2022 TikTok video, she shared that these years with her children are incredibly special and fleeting, and she wants to savor every moment, not wanting to miss anything.
In fact, the dancer said it was the “right decision” to retire from DWTS after over a decade.
She shared that some of her happiest memories happened while working on the show, and she’s truly thankful for that period in her life. She feels everything happens for a reason, and she considers her time on the show to have been a wonderful and successful chapter.
Plus, Lindsay admittedly has never felt at home in Los Angeles, where the show is filmed.
She admitted she never truly felt at home in Hollywood, despite its benefits to her career. ‘I always appreciated what Hollywood offered, and everything I accomplished there,’ she told People magazine, ‘but I was always eager to return to Utah and spend time with my family between projects.’
She added of the Beehive State, “This has always been where I know I want to raise my family.”
