Slime Rancher 2 launches September 23

In simple terms, the game “Slime Rancher 2” is set to officially debut on September 23 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and personal computers through platforms like Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store. This announcement was made by the developers at Monomi Park.

Initially, the sequel was made available for early release on both Xbox Series and personal computers (Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store) on September 22, 2022. Later, it debuted on PlayStation 5 on June 11, 2024.

Beginning in early 2026, you’ll be able to get a physical copy of Slime Rancher 2 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series from distributor iam8bit for $34.99. These editions will showcase artwork by Yusuke Naora and include a free digital soundtrack download. The iam8bit Exclusive Edition, which can only be purchased through iam8bit, comes with an illustrated sleeve adorned with a slime sticker set of six unique slimes, as well as a special O-sleeve highlighting Beatrix LeBeau and other characters. You can pre-order now; however, the iam8bit Exclusive Edition pre-orders are only available until August 26.

The complete rollout will introduce fresh content and gameplay enhancements, such as Quantum Drones, additional map locations, and wrapping up the narrative.
