Tom Brady, Bridget Moynahan Reunite for Son’s High School Graduation

Tom Brady and Bridget Moynahan’s son Jack is passing into a new chapter. 

Tom Brady, the seven-time Super Bowl winner, was there to celebrate with the actor from Blue Bloods as his 18-year-old child graduated high school.

Tom shared family photos on Instagram on June 13th, celebrating a very proud moment: his son Jack’s graduation. He wrote about how amazing it was to watch Jack begin the next stage of his already impressive life, and how wonderful Jack is as a son, brother, grandson, nephew, and friend.

The retired football player chose a classic look with a navy suit and sunglasses. Meanwhile, the actress from Sex and the City wore a stylish blue and white striped dress, accessorizing with hoop earrings and her own pair of sunglasses.

The family celebration continued with Tom also posting pictures of his children, Vivian, 13, and Benjamin, 16, with their brother, the new graduate. It was a full family moment as they all posed together.

Even though Jack is starting a new chapter in his life, Tom hopes he remains true to himself.

He said what truly makes him happy is seeing the real you – the person you are when no one else is around. He loves how you’re there for your friends, how you reach out to those who are struggling, and the warmth you bring to our family. He even appreciates that you still let him win sometimes when you’re competing against each other.

This isn’t a goodbye, but a fresh beginning. We’re confident you’ll achieve great things in whatever you pursue. Don’t be afraid to take chances, always be kind, and stay true to yourself. Remember, your family and friends will always be your biggest supporters, just as you are theirs. We love you!

Jack hasn’t said what he wants to do after graduating high school, but Tom – who used to date Bridget for three years until 2006 – talked about Jack’s impressive athletic skills and whether he might pursue a career in sports like his father.

Tom playfully remarked at the Fortune Global Forum in November 2024, ‘He jumps just as high as I do!’ He added with a laugh, ‘I tell him he’s going to be amazing. Just wait until his growth spurt hits – then he’ll really start dunking.’

He added, “It doesn’t really matter if he follows through or not. What’s important is that he knows I’m here for him and I support him.”

Tom Brady is one of the most accomplished quarterbacks in football history. Over his impressive 23-year career – including two decades with the New England Patriots and three seasons with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers – he won an incredible seven Super Bowls. He briefly retired in 2022, but decided to return before ultimately retiring for good the following year.

However, Brady considers his children to be his greatest joy. He has a son, Jack, with Bridget Moynahan (they ended their relationship in 2006 after nearly three years together), and two other children, Benjamin and Vivian, with his ex-wife Gisele Bündchen. Their marriage lasted 13 years before they divorced in 2022.

In a 2023 interview, Brady shared, “Spending time with my kids is a great thing for me.” He explained that they “bring so much to my life, and add so much joy, energy, and maturity,” and he wants to be there to support them as they grow.

Bridget Moynahan, known for her role on the TV show Blue Bloods, experienced a particularly intense period of public attention in 2007 when it was revealed she was pregnant with Tom Brady’s child. This happened shortly after their relationship ended and he began dating Gisele Bündchen.

She told People magazine in 2019 that the media coverage felt intrusive and frightening. “I had cars following me, and people hiding near my home,” she said. “As a new mom, you just want to keep your child safe, and all that attention felt like a real threat.”

Following their son Jack’s birth in August 2007, Bridget, Tom, and Gisele ultimately established a successful co-parenting relationship.

Bridget explained that they all agreed to raise Jack together and were fortunate to find partners who loved and supported him. “You couldn’t ask for more,” she said. “My son is growing up surrounded by love.”

John Edward Thomas Moynahan, known as Jack, was born in August 2007. His father, Tom Brady, wrote on Instagram for Jack’s 16th birthday in 2023 that he has brought joy to their lives since the day he was born. Gisele Bündchen considers Jack her “bonus child” and has said his birth prompted her and Tom to reconsider how quickly they wanted to expand their family.

Gisele explained in her 2018 book, Lessons: My Path to a Meaningful Life, that Jack helped them both mature and realize they wanted any future children to be closer in age to him. His arrival shifted their priorities.

Like his father, Jack is athletic, enjoying basketball and lacrosse, but his parents are committed to letting him find his own way in life. Bridget Moynahan shared in 2023 that Jack is still figuring things out, and they’re happy with that, wanting to avoid putting pressure on him to follow in their footsteps.

Gisele and Tom met on a blind date in December 2006 and married in February 2009. They had two children: son Benjamin, born at the end of 2009, and daughter Vivian, born in 2012.

Gisele, a successful supermodel, later prioritized raising her family, telling Vanity Fair in 2023 that she was incredibly thankful for the time she spent as a hands-on mother – breastfeeding her children until they were nearly two, making their meals, and driving them to school.

Though they divorced in October 2022, Gisele clarified reports suggesting Tom’s decision to unretire from football caused the split. She explained they simply grew apart over time.

Following the divorce, Gisele became closer to her family’s jiu-jitsu instructor, Joaquim Valente, and in February 2025, they welcomed their first child together.

It’s clear Vivian shares a strong resemblance to her mom, Gisele – so much so that she can even unlock Gisele’s phone with Face ID! Gisele’s Instagram is full of sweet photos of them enjoying activities together, like horseback riding and yoga.

Gisele also expressed her pride on Instagram in 2023, thanking Vivian for bringing so much joy into her life and telling her ‘I love you very much.’

Gisele initially stated her connection with Joaquim Valente was purely friendly. In a 2023 interview with Vanity Fair, she acknowledged people might speculate about her relationships now that she’s divorced. She then went on to express gratitude for Joaquim and his brothers, explaining they’ve been supportive of both her and her children and have become close friends. Gisele specifically praised Joaquim as a jiu-jitsu instructor she admires and trusts, appreciating the positive influence he has on her family.

Their friendship eventually blossomed into a romantic relationship. In an interview with The New York Times in March 2024, she described dating someone she was friends with first as a uniquely honest and open experience, without revealing any names. She firmly denied rumors of infidelity during her previous marriage, calling them false. Although Joaquim and Gisele occasionally display affection publicly, they generally keep their relationship private. Reports indicate they plan to marry in a small ceremony in Florida in December 2025.

Gisele and Joaquim have been keeping a big part of their lives private: their new baby. Since welcoming the child in early 2025, they haven’t shared the baby’s name with the public. Gisele has given fans small glimpses, though, like a sweet Mother’s Day photo of the baby wearing an “I Heart Mom” onesie.

She recently shared on Instagram that she’s been enjoying quiet time with her family. “Sometimes the most beautiful moments aren’t shared—they’re simply lived,” she wrote, adding that she’s been appreciating a slower pace of life and focusing on meaningful connections.
