Perrie Edwards is singing the sweet melody of wedding bells.

Perrie Edwards, formerly of Little Mix, married Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain in a small wedding ceremony held in the Algarve region of Portugal on June 13th. Pictures of the event were published by the Daily Mail.

The couple, engaged in 2022, were married at the beautiful Igreja Matriz de Estoi church in the village of Estoi, Faro.

On her wedding day, Edwards looked stunning in a beautiful white wedding dress. The dress had a fitted bodice, long sleeves, and delicate lace details.

Edwards looked effortlessly elegant for her wedding, with a classic updo, a white veil, and a bouquet of white calla lilies. She completed the look with gold earrings.

Soccer player Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, who plays for Celtic, wore a classic black tuxedo with a white calla lily as a boutonniere.

After the wedding, the happy couple—parents to 4-year-old Axel and 5-month-old Alanis—walked hand-in-hand down the church steps as husband and wife. Guests celebrated by throwing white rose petals as they made their first public appearance as a married couple.

Rumors about a relationship between Edwards and Oxlade-Chamberlain first started in 2016. They initially connected on the dating app Raya, but didn’t actually go out until Edwards saw Oxlade-Chamberlain on the popular British TV show Celebrity Gogglebox.

She told Fearne Cotton on her ‘Happy Place’ podcast that she’d messaged him after watching his episode of Gogglebox, asking if he’d like to go for a drink. She even playfully asked if he’d take her out! He replied with, ‘It’s a school night,’ meaning he was prioritizing watching football. She admitted it was a little frustrating, but she understood – he was really focused on the game and it was hard to get him to come out. She thought it was ‘fair enough’ given his dedication.

Edwards, who used to date Zayn Malik of One Direction between 2012 and 2015, felt an instant connection with Oxlade-Chamberlain when they met.

She remembered the moment she first saw him at the entrance to Cirque nightclub. “I instantly knew he was the one,” she said. “I was completely smitten – he was incredibly handsome, well-dressed, and had amazing hair. I just fell for him immediately.”

From there, the 32-year-old shared that she “fell for him really quickly.”

She described him as incredibly genuine, kind, and hilarious. She said he’s the funniest person she’s ever known and always makes her laugh uncontrollably. She feels very fortunate to know him.

And that feeling has remained, all these years and two kids later.
