It successfully introduced Krypto as an important character, ensuring audiences understand his significance going into the Supergirl movie – and trailers have already hinted that the new film will expand on this relationship.

Kara’s first appearance in Superman didn’t reveal much about what she was thinking or feeling, but the trailers for the upcoming movie show a character who deeply struggles with loneliness and finding her place in the world.
