We’re big fans of challenging action RPGs—often called ‘Soulslikes,’—so we were excited to see more of Mistfall Hunter after a recent gameplay preview. The game’s open beta is looking promising, especially because the latest video focuses on its intense combat. You can watch it below.
I’m really loving how flexible the Gyldhunters are! It means you can build them in so many ways to take down some seriously cool enemies – and when I say cool, I mean thoughtfully designed. Each enemy has clear tells for their attacks, which is great because they hurt. Luckily, the parrying and dodging feels incredibly smooth and precise; honestly, it reminds me a lot of Sekiro, and that’s high praise!
No matter how you prefer to play – whether it’s casting spells from a distance, bravely taking hits while dealing damage, or skillfully defeating enemies with a sword – this game has something for you.
